Whenever you hear the line "call Sen. Nogood and tell him..." it's an "issue advocacy ad." I doubt this was put out by Mondull, but it surely pleases him.

Ironically, the kind of "campaign finance reform" that he and the other Dems are so obsessed with would ban these kinds of ads this close to the election. How ironic, the kind of ads the Dems want to ban would cripple their pinch-hitter strategy in New Jersey, and sink Mondull's chances.

But when are Democrats ever intellectually consistent?

I have some campaign slogans for him;

Vote Mondale, he doesn't suck as bad as you think he does.

What other old guy can you count on now that Matlock has been cancelled.

Drool and plenty of it.

No, this can't be, I heard him make a statement yesterday that he wanted to return the Senate to bipartisan decency, instead of the nasty vile bickering place it is.

Those really aren't headphones that he is wearing, they are part of his life-support system.

It appears that Fritz went to the mortuary for a makeup job while the leading lights of the Democratic Party held their Saturday Night Live send off for Senator Wellstone.

If Mondale wins do we have to wear polyester leisure suits and pay 18% mortages again?

Campaigns only go negative if they need to reduce the other sides turn our. Negative ads are designed to reduce support for the other guy. Mondale is not trying to increase his vote, he is trying to reduce Colemans vote.

Trying to reduce Colemans vote is a heck of a gamble. Republicans are mad. Mondale attacking him is an indication that mondale has a problem. Too many Coleman voters and not enough mondale voters and no voters left to get.

Bet the farm that the Democrats have been doing tracking polls since last saturday. If they looked good for Mondale every media outlet in the nation would have them.

There is nothing that the Modale campaign would like more than a million stories that the Wellstone family memorial had not rubbed off and hurt mondale. If it had not hurt Mondale at the polls we would know it loud and clear. If we are not hearing what the polls say in this vital race, then the polls do not favor Mondale.

As far as Coleman is concerned the more Repubicans think it will take every single voter voting to win, the better. The last thing Coleman wants is publicity that says he is winning. He wants turn out.

At this stage it is Mondale that needs the momentum not Coleman.

On Britt Hume's Special Report, Mort Kondracke just said the latest polling numbers that followed the Wellstone Celebration/Democratic Party Ralley, show Coleman and Mondale in a dead heat!

If truth be told by all, it's the congress that's running the businesses out of the country and costing jobs. Too many taxes and regulations, quotas and the like. It isn't fair for Mondull to blame one person. After all, would he want to have his record brought to light?

I said it when he and GF ran and, I reiterate now, "Let's Not Put America On the Fritz!"

This is a good issue for them dems, except what is the difference between exporting jobs and importing foreign workers? Not much in my book. Are the dems now going to support reduced immigration as well? Doubt it. Nice try anyway.

Coleman has the momentum. I am in Minnesota. Mondale decision not to debate will hurt him even more. I am astounded that the RATS are repeatedly misjudging the public mood.

Coleman is with Cheney tomorrow, Laura Bush on Sat, President Bush on Sunday, and Guiliani on Monday. Talk about heavy hitters.
