*HOT* New Democratic Last-Ditch Plot To Steal Election (MUST READ)

*HOT* New Democratic Last-Ditch Plot To Steal Election. . . split conservatives (MUST READ)

Suddenly, many holding themselves out as “Libertarians” and “conservatives” have popped up, out of the blue, on a Friday before an election on Free Republic, other message boards, and talk radio with inane suggestions that Conservatives and Republicans throw out their votes and vote for Libertarians or for gridlock (Democrats).

Is this a desperate 11th hour attempt to damper the Republican vote and suppress the Republican base? If anyone was listening to the Sean Hannity show, this Democratic Strategy was very apparent.

Yes, they are and I am listening to Sean. I loved the Matt or Mark who was a true conservative and his rediculous statements. Poor Sean!

If you don't want a democratic Senate you must vote straight Republiican. Libertarians will not get a win or what they want by voting for a Libertarian Candidate, they will get the Dems!

You are correct, I too am in no mood for anything but positive talk about HOW THE REPUBLICANS WILL REGAIN THE SENATE AND HOLD THE HOUSE.

Kodos:My fellow Americans. As a young boy, I dreamed of being a baseball, but tonight I say, we must move forward, not backward, upward not forward, and always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom.

Kang: The politics of failure have failed. We need to make them work again. Tomorrow, when you are sealed in the voting cubicle, vote for me, Senator Ka... Bob Dole.

Kodos: I am looking forward to an orderly election tomorrow, which will eliminate the need for a violent blood bath.

Not a Flame, but a caution;

You want those 3rd party votes?

Start abiding by the constitution.
Stop "bipartisan compromise" with socialist Democrats.
Start ACTING like Conservatives instead of "right leaning socialists".
Start standing up for the Bill of Rights, even if that means passing a few LAWS that put the Courts back in their place, clarifying who MAKES the law and who enforces it.

Republicans do NOT have a "right" to their major party position.
It Can Be Taken Away.
NO vote is Wasted. It is political opinion expressed by the individual. You have no right to judge it's worth.

It is my intention this ONE TIME, to vote for TALENT in the Missouri election for Senate.

But hear this message well.
Further Failure Will Result In A Complete Disregard For the Fortunes of the Republican Party.

Start living up to "Less Government".
Start Lowering Taxes, if not eliminating them.
Start getting rid of those laws that infringe upon American Freedoms.
Secure our Borders.
Stop Acquiescing to the Democrats, Special interests, the U.N, etc., etc., etc..
Show me RESULTS, not Promises.

Otherwise, I vote;
Libertarian 'till I die.

If I can't count on You, I won't vote for You.

There are prominent posters at democraticunderground.com who gleefully admit to this.

Watch out, gang. Divide and conquer isn't just a cliche... it works!

Kodos: "I am Clin-Ton. As overlord, all will kneel trembling before me and obey my brutal commands. End communication."

Marge: "Hmm, that's Slick Willie for you, always with the smooth talk."

Sorry, disagree. The time for iron-clad principles is in the primary. The time to choose the lesser of two evils is Tuesday.

Look how far the socialists have ridden their strategy of incrementalism over the past seven decades. It might take us as long to turn the tide. I don't like it any more than you do, but them's the facts.

Push the GOP towards liberty principles in the primary. Then vote straight GOP in the general election. In other words, the time to make forward progress is in the primaries. The time to PREVENT the DemocRat Socialists from making forward progress is in the general election.

To do otherwise is to hand Congress to the Democrats. Check http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/776328/posts ...and consider:

Subcommittee on Foreign Operations, Export Financing and Related Programs -- Chair, Nancy Pelosi

Democrat on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence -- Chair, Nanci Pelosi

House Banking and Financial Services Committee -- Chair, Bernie Sanders

Subcommittee on Domestic and International Monetary Policy -- Chair, Maxine Waters

Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations -- Chair, Henry Waxman

House Government Reform Committee -- Chair, Henry Waxman

Government Reform's Subcommittee on Energy Policy, Natural Resources and Regulatory Affairs -- Chair, John Tierney

House Ways and Means Committee -- Chair, Charles Rangel

House Committee on Health, Social Security, Medicare, Trade and Public Assistance -- Chair, Pete Stark

...You get the picture. Each of the Chairs shown above are the likelies if the Democrats gain control of the House. And each is a strident socialist. Almost all are members of the Democratic Socialists of America's "Progressive Caucus".

Your vote counts. Don't throw it away.

Amen. I can't vote for my state rep (RINO or Independent moron ... can't make a choice).

Then I get Nancy Johnson (claim to fame -- oldest member of Congress) or that big fat oaf Jim Maloney. What a freaking choice.

But I'll go cast my vote for the fossil over the fat dufus.

Not exactly a new "strategerie" by the democRATS, but novices to the internet and talk radio might not be aware of the tactic.

Do the rest of us a favor....hold your nose and vote for that RINO.

As long as they vote for GOP leadership in the House and Senate, it will be worth it.

Interesting thread. I'd just like to add something:

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INTENTIONS AND RESULTS!!!

I happen to agree with a large number of "Libertarian" tenets. Were I to vote Libertarian, however, the RESULT would be the nullification of a Republican vote which translates into a net GAIN of one vote for a Dim. After all we've seen of the modern Democrat party since, oh, about 1963 or so; and PARTICULARLY in these past two elections, giving a Dim a vote, through any means at all, is simply too revolting a thought.

Intentions vs. results, folks. Ultimately, we are judged on the latter, not the former. We may intend to vote our conscience, strike a blow for liberty and the Constitution, etc., but if the result, via a Dim victory, is actually a dilution of those worthy goals, then we have been made fools of.

Forget not, once in power the Dims will be the ones writing laws on taxes, spending, immigration, gun control, and trade. It will be THEY who select for us the judges, administrators, attorneys general, top military officers, regulators, and bureaucrats. 'Tis THEY who will write tort law and set education policy.

If the Republicans have been seemingly too eager to compromise with the Dims of late, those who, by their "principled" votes sent more Dims to Washington are partly to blame...compromise would NOT be as necessary with a greater Republican majority. You who complain about "weak-spined" Republicans are, unfortunately, partly to blame.

Think there's no difference? Really? Okay, I'll play your game. Did ANY Republicans accompany the Maggot Boys, Bonior and McDermott, to Baghdad to denounce their own country on the soil of an enemy? Is it Republicans who refuse to consider for confirmation any judges with Conservative, Constitutionalist leanings? Do Republicans wish to eliminate the tax cuts recently passed, or make them permanent? Is it the Republicans who conducted the shamelessly disgusting campaign rally upon a corpse this week? Was it the Republicans who, for 8 years (10 now!) steadfastly defended and protected one of the most apalling excuses for a President our country has ever been saddled with (and who would not have been elected without the interference of a third party, BTW). Do Republicans today hold out their worst failures from past years as "elder statesmen", worthy of Senate terms? Of all the (almost hourly) reports of electioneering shenanigans, have ANY touched a Republican? And lastly (and I could go on, oh yes, my brothers, I could) were any Republicans ever evident marching with those skinwasters at anti-war protests, past AND present?

Anyone who claims not to see a "dime's worth of difference" here doesn't have eyesight worth a penny.

Let's get the RATS out, once and for all. Once that high and worthy cause is done, we can turn our attention to the pursuit of liberty as enshrined in the Constitution. Such a pursuit, however, cannot take place whilst a Donkey blocks the road and refuses to budge.

An America where the two major parties are Libertarian and Republican would be wondrous indeed. First, however, a whole other party, one with a great deal of power still, must be crushed. Together, we all can do so. Apart, we can only wear its chains.
