I was quite clear in my first post
what I was speaking out against. Those who are calling
for the deaths of innocent muslim americans along with
the guilty. You chose to argue with that post. Now
you blame me for taking you wrong.

As for Islam, whether or not you find it a pretty religion,
it is protected by the first amendment. You can argue
that its ugly. You can argue that it's violent. But
the argument that it is not protected is weak at best.

Yes, I know of peaceful muslims. It wouldn't surprise
me to hear that you do not know any personally. Yes,
I may be blind to some of their faults, but let me tell you,
someone who's never met a muslim is a whole lot blinder
than someone who actually knows the people she talks about.

As for tolerance, I know very well that it's gone too far.
I'd be the first to tell you so in many matters, including pro-homosexual indoctrination and pro-child sex programs.

But I'll also be the first to tell you that this mindless hatred of muslims has gone too far. Because it has. Whether you have the class to admit it or not. It is ugly, it is injust, and it is tactless. While I _am_ glad none of you,
to my knowledge, are actively involved in any violent
acts, what's written here is more important than you seem
to think. Free Republic gives the public a view of what
conservatives are like. It's mentioned on television, radio and in newspapers and magazines. It's a very big reflection
on conservatives as a whole. And when conservatives look
like a bunch of biggots, who wants to join their ranks?

Okay. Look. Read the bible. Count how many things
you can find inside it that some Christians don't do.
Look at the Torah. Count how many things inside it
that some Jews don't do. It being in the book
is no evidence that these people are following it.

Hey, you've said it yourself. Actions speak louder
than words. If they're not acting on the words
in the Koran, and they're remaining peaceful,
that certainly says something.

As for the rest of your message, I was never sarcastic or rude to you. I was simply matter of fact and honest. So if you want to be sarcastic, then I will be too. And I am better at it than you are, LOL.

I love how you are accusing us all of anti-Americanism. It is pretty funny. I think you will be kissing the feet of people like us when we help to avert another terrorist threat. People like you just stick your heads in the sand.

The fact that Muslims in America haven't killed anyone YET does not matter. You can't seem to get that through your head. Let me give you an analogy about war to see if it helps. In the Vietnam war, do you think that the soldiers took time out to ask the enemy if he were peaceful or not? No. They just shot the guy. Why? Because when the situation becomes an issue of life and death, there are no distinctions between those who are "peaceful" and those who are not. If one is associated with the enemy's camp, one is the enemy.

We are at war right now, in case that has escaped your attention. We can't tell which Muslim will commit violence and which one will not, therefore we can't trust any of them. We shouldn't condone the religion that has led us to this point, either.

I don't understand why you can't get this very simple concept. Don't you think there is a reason that you are the ONLY person on this thread sticking up for Islam? Don't you think that maybe its because you are WRONG?

This is the last post you will see from me. I am sure I am just wasting my time. Why don't you go bang a tambourine, sing "We Are The World" with your Muslim neighbors, and leave the discussions to the real, grown-up Americans.

I support the war against terrorism. I support
killing terrorists.

I do not support grouping innocent people in with their ranks. I will not repeat myself on this any more.

Those of you who condone killing off innocent Americans
ought to be ashamed of yourselves. The focus should be
on those who are truly our enemies. Those who truly
mean to harm us. If you cannot make a distinction between
muslims who wish to harm us and muslims who do not - if in fact, you are unwilling to take the time to make that distinction, you are the one whose head is in the sand.

Also, if you'd scroll up, you'd see that I am not the only
one standing up for peaceful muslims in this country. But you just won't take the time to look at the facts, Morrigan, because you've got a chip on your shoulder
and you've intentionally blinded yourself to any
view but your own.

Well, you have a right to be angry. Many muslims have
done a lot to harm your country. It's just too bad you
can't be angry and sensible at the same time.
