This ought to be pretty illustrative - almost a referendum for the GOP. Can't wait!
Is HH taking today off?

I saw her interviewed on Fox. She knows her stuff. You can tell by the look on her face America is in BIG trouble.
Iran says they have sleeper cells in the US just in case America decides to mess with them. If Iran can do it, how about Red China? Cuba? Mexico? Or any nation sending in cells as insurance?
Millions and millians came in during the open boarder policy of the Clinton reign of terror. He just opened the doors to everyone reguardless of background checks because he wanted the democrat votes! (Ba$tard!)

MICHELLE IS A NATIONAL TREASURE!

As long as pukimo molakai Malkin concurs that all Philipino visa applications should be subjected to the same scrutiny as those from Saudi Arabia, she has credibility.
Someone should ask her the question.

RonDog - thanks for your efforts to make this interview happen.
Unfortunately the GOP is united around the notion of reintroducing amnesty-like legislation in short order. Hugh will undoubtedly continue to argue for that GOP position, but Michelle might be able to at least expose some chinks in the GOP armor for later.
As for your statement:
Like FR founder Jim Robinson, Hugh is apprehensive about the damage that the "immigration reform" movement can do to the "mainstream" image of the national Republican party, and has concerns that the leftist media can distort the actions of some of the more extreme elements in the movement to make the party appear to be racist, and anti-Latino. Such a charge could effectively crush the Bush administration's outreach program to the huge (and growing) numbers of Hispanic voters who are in this country LEGALLY, but many my most passionate conservative FRiends have chosen to force this extremely important issue into the forefront of our political discussions.
Please consider that besides the much mentioned obvious security risks involved with present INS policy and practice, legal immigrants are one of the most vocal groups concerned about the unfair advantages given to illegals as presently practiced and as would be enabled by any form of amnesty. How would you react knowing all your efforts to become a citizen could be circumvented by disease-ridden welfare-cheats being given amnesty without effort? Oh, yes, I don't buy the nonsense about only legitimate workers being the only ones allowed in. The amnesty apologists like to fool themselves that enforcement of laws would occur any differently than presently.
Thanks again for bringing this serious issue to the forefront, as I left Hewitt behind long ago in favor of the other competing concurrent radio show addressing "borders, language, culture." Perhaps Hugh can help the GOP and Jim Robinson get back on course.
Drop the racism, secure the borders and stop the invasion.

There is an easy solution to illegal immigration. When an illegal immigrant is caught in this country he or she must be deported to their country of origin. Secondly, the US must deduct $10,000.00 in aid sent to that country for each illegal apprehended. If the same illegal immigrant is caught again entering our country the price tag is now $20,000.00, three times $40,000.00. The catch is the US must must enforce a strict apprehension policy.
