I am not opposed to "mansions," but on a senator's salary? This construction demonstrates Senator Landrieu's arrogance and her taking the LA voters for granted. She expects to live here permanently or at least for quite a while because LA voters have virtually alwasy reelected their U.S. senators, usually with little opposition. Allen J. Ellender in 1966 and Russell B. Long in 1974 and 1980 had no Republican opponents. Mary is really going to be "mad" on Dec. 8 if she loses on Dec. 7.

But see, Hillary Rodham uses the name "Clinton," and Landrieu does not use the name "Snellings."

How can the Sportsman's Paradise, Louisiana, elect the gun-controlling, black-rooted, blond foulmouth Mary Landrieu to the US Senate?

Besides that, while Louisiana may often elect NON-Cathholics to Statewide office, it is very rare that they will elect LAPSED (former) Catholics like old pro-abortion, pro-partial birth abortion, Mary Landrieu to office.

More values and morals are needed, not less. Suzy has what it takes to be one of the top five to seven most influential Senators in DC, probably THE MOST INFLUENTIAL WOMAN in the Senate!! You heard this here first, remember that!

David Tyree will probably run with this stuff tomorrow afternoon. Landrieu will get worked over really good on his show tomorrow.

The most important thing is for Suzie Terrell not to say another damn word about it. Let the media do the dirty work and stay above the nasty fray. The Senate is hers if she holds her tongue.

It doesn't really sound like a threat to me.

Perhaps it wasn't. But what would some of her supporters make of a "shrill" statement like that? How many threats of physical violence will Suzie get from Landrieu's supporters who want to respond in a way that they perceive that Mary would want them to?

"Shrill statements" like that can escalate, and "foment" people to anger. That's how things happen in Muslim countries, for instance.

Ask Tom Daschle.

I think you are exactly right!

PING - but Terrell should guard her BACK if the Clintons are involved, she may end up on the missing list like so many others are.

Not any more. Now that the entire nation knows that Landrieu openly threatened Terrell's life, if Terrell gets so much as a paper cut the resulting investigations could end up destroying the RATS for the next generation.

It seems (vaguely) to me that Mary Louise Snellings' husband was also named "Frank." But this may two different Snellingses.

Note to Comrade Landrieu: Socialists don't win in Louisiana. Who's going to write your concession speech, Jessie Jackass, Hitlery, Dasshole, McAwful, or are you going to do it. BTW: I say by this time next year, Breaux either switches parties or decides to run for governor

It does sound that Senator Landrieu may have borrowed from the playbook of her friend Tom Daschle and ran her mouth once too often to her own detriment.

Is Terrell making an issue out of Landrieu's and Breaux's votes against the confirmation of SC Judge Shedd?

Bookmarked this article. This Louisianian has more of a reason to vote on December 7. First it was because I like Bush and Terrell, now it's because I hate Landrieu.

I haven't yet seen this debate but I'm told Suzie cleaned Landrieu's clock. Apparently the reporter didn't see fit to mention that Mrs Terrell stole Landrieu's thunder from the start. Landrieu has been telling voters how important her committee assignments have been as a basis for re-election. However, at the start of this debate Suzie said, Louisiana is better off having a new player in Congress on the winning team rather than an old veteran sitting on the bench. Mary sat there in stunned silence for about 20 seconds then announced her age. FOFLOL.

Notice Nagin(his correct spelling) has not been actively campaigning for Landrieu.(He's a candidate for party switch and the local Dems attacked him for backing Bush during the presidential election.)

Some of these Democrats like Dassle and McAuliffe seem to be just inches away from going over the edge, and engaging in outright violence or suborning of violence ("hit" men?) they are so sure God ordained them to rule, and they are being pushed back all along the line...

They may very soon be to the point that Hill and Bill long have been, and as a result many more than just Terrell may be victims of Arkanacide in the near future.

Landrieu's Washington mansion was the focus of a campaign ad during the primary. It was the first time that many Louisianans became aware of where she lives, not surprisingly she and Gov Foster labeled that ad as negative. I don't think it was a negative ad but it may have proved to be a negative for Landrieu. Louisiana is generally considered to be the poorest state in the union and much of her base lives below the proverty line.

I don't think Landrieu was really threatening Suzie's life, more like a wistful prediction of her political death. It was nasty and catty and sure sign that Landrieu is losing it. She has been nothing if not arrogant and dismissive for the past 6 years to all louisianans and especially to her base. Now, she has been forced to go hat in hand begging for their support. Clearly, it isn't sitting well that some have kept her at a distance and dangling. Cleo Fields endorsement was, at best, luke warm and unexciting. It has made her spiteful and more testy than usual.
