Well of course it is! The illegals can enter this country and immediately become eligible for free health care and other forms of government handouts while many hardworking American taxpayers, going through hard straights, aren't eligible for any assistance at all.

I don't hate these folks for trying to come here and better their lives, but they need to do it legally and pay their dues just like the rest of us.

Two words: Taxpayer Revolt!

That would be too sweet for words. But we would need Americans for that. I'm not too sure many of the kind are left.

Haven't you noticed? Bush is a centrist. His "base" is much broader than right wing Republicans.

Power to him means more than the future of our boarders. He has enough pragmatic temporal sense and sense of reality in general to fight those who attack us in battle on a large scale, which puts him one up on the spaced-out Democrats, but does not concern himself with the long-term war of alien warfare we have only begun to fight.

He is only human and sometimes fails to resist the temptation, with only the here and now in mind, to pander at will.

Bush is not entirely to blame for the apathetic spirit toward the country's future. Considering the times, he is a relatively good man, but still has points of weakness, as all men do. Early Americans recognized this propensity of weakness in humanity and sought a governmental system to put in check the resulting tyranny from ignorance and foolhardiness of a chosen ruling few over the ruled majority.

Many Americans(using the term loosely) now believe man to be basically good. This attitude does not mesh with the original intent of Constitutional law, and thus helps to destroy it, and in effect promotes socialist and tyranny.

In the old days, our founding fathers gave their lives for the future of many whom they would never know, but men of that caliber grow rarer with every session of Congress. Bush often puts politics over Constitution, but what elected or appointed official doesn't? What choice do we have?

The government is less public property as we are government property. The government is to listen, serve and protect and, in all, maintain liberty, not to educate, subjugate, and endanger.

Forcing those under 16 to attend school is an instance of tyranny not intended by our founding fathers, as is forcing citizens to pay for the health and welfare of as well as give up our property, not to our own citizens, but to citizens of other nations.

In Dimwit Davis' speech yesterday he made NO MENTION of the fact that illegal immigration costs California taxpayers BILLIONS of dollars each year. This state is forty billion bucks in the hole now. Instead of facing this problem, he chooses to raise fees and taxes on citizens. Not a word about illegal aliens. WHATAGUY!
