CURIOUS ABOUT CLINTON

This has probably been discussed many times before, so I apologize in advance if I am beating a dead horse.

Just recently I had discussions with a couple of individuals concerning Clinton. The first person made the claim that Clinton is an intelligent person and to back it up, he put forth Clinton's ability to get into Georgetown, and then continue on.

The other person wanted to know just how exactly Clinton got into Georgetown. Who sponsored this guy? How did someone from such dirt-poor, white-trash beginnings, get accepted into Georgetown, accepted into the Rhodes Scholar program, and then from there go to Yale? Where did he get the money? When he entered the Presidency, he owned squat. I mentioned to the second perosn that Clinton is not a Rhodes Scholar because he not only did not finish the program but was invited not to return. I also mentioned his excursion into the Soviet Union and how nobody seems to know how someone like him - supposively a nobody - was able to travel in and around the Soviet Union. Can anyone shed any light onto this? And why is the media afraid to investigate this?

No one will talk about the toons time behind the Iron Curtain. He was there for some time. KGB SOP was to recruit students who were destined for public service. The toon went to College during the late 60' so there was a lot of leftist sympathy on campuses. (more so than there is now, which isnt saying much)What a prize the young Arkansan must have been for Moscow Center! It was obvious back then that Billy jeff was going far in politics and the KGB had to know this to invite him as an Oxford exchange student. In person, Slick is the most charming person I have ever met. Even in the middle if the Monica mess, it was hard to keep remembering that he was the consumate moral slimeball who was willing to endanger our national security to get reelection money from the PRC, play "wag the dog" with people's lives and encourage active criminal conduct in his administration.

He probably did exceptionally well in admission interviews and was willing to lie to tell the interviewers whatever he thought they wanted to hear.

Michael Medvid went to lay school with Slick and Slickette. He hates them both, but says Bill is the ultimate operator. Not only did will sleep with every female in his law school class, even the lesbians, but they all loved him before, during and after their relationships with him!

From stories that made the rounds in Louisiana a few years ago, it seems that Clinton's mother had connections with organized crime in Hot Springs, Arkansas, when that town was big on gambling, night clubs, and such. Rumors also have it that Democratic politicians in Arkansas - both national and state level - were persuaded to sponsor this guy, as he was supposed to be very intelligent. Rumors also said that his intelligence was limited to a photographic memory, in that he can read something and speak it back word-for-word.

Most people don't even know Slick was in Moscow.

He was certainly a prize catch for them. Articulate, charming, good looking, very sexual, brilliant, a committed far-leftist active in the anti-war movement.

Somewhere, there are files. The Soviets didn't fart without a committee meeting to approve it beforehand.

And of course, who paid for all that travel? Multiple, frequent trips to the US, UK and elsewhere......

My understanding is that Rhodes was a socialist (if not communist) and his scholarships were to be awarded to "underprivledged" individuals (two scholarships per state.) It is my further understanding that Rhodes Scholarships have nothing to do with acedamia and everything to do with politics...in other words, if an individual expresses views paralell to Rhodes' socialist/communist worldview, they were ideal candidates to be awarded a scholarship.

This would go a long way in explaining why Bill Clinton was awarded a Rhodes Sholarship, and further explain why he was allowed to "visit" the Soviet Union at the height of the Cold War.

Of course there are files. The Russians keep Billy Jeff in check and Hillary protects their ongoing relationship with her FBI files. Met him too. He seemed like a mirror to me. Just reflecting whatever came across in front of him. I didn't believe a thing he said. But I knew better by then. I could see how this guy could con anyone out of anything.

Do you seriously doubt Clinton's intelligence?

As much as I absolutely despise the man, I have never questioned that he is not an intelligent man. That may be part of the problem though.

What makes the Clinton's so scary though is the combination of the two of them:

He - An intelligent man with a tremendous ego and libido combined with a charming personality, plus, the ability to look anyone in the eye, tell a bald face lie and have 50% of the people believe it. A man so consumed with power that he would be willing to do anything to achieve it, including marrying Hillary Rodham (did you see what she looked like in the 60's?...... yeeech).

She - A self professed Feminist/socialist (while in college) who was intelligent enough to recognized that the only way to reach the top was on some man's coat tails. So consumed with achieving her goals that she changed her name twice (inspite of her feminist ideals), stayed in a shallow marriage while her husband jumped from bed to bed (w/ willing partners or not), and then sold all of her ideals to the highest bidder in a desire to achieve the Presidency.

These two are a frightening combination with loads of faults and weaknesses.

But lack of intelligence is not one of them>

With enough drive anyone can get into an institution like Georgetown, and Clinton had drive. I believe his association with Sen. William Fulbright had alot to do with his receiving a Rhoades Scholarship.

But without a doubt Clinton is smart. How else could he have traveled throughout Europe, including a difficult to obtain invitation to visit the soviets during the height of the cold war, staying at the finest hotels without any visible means of support if he wasn't a bright guy?

Clinton is an intelligent person. The problem is that he applies his intelligence in sordid ways (lying, cheating, etc) for sordid ends (self-aggrandizement, sexual exploitation, etc).
