You must recognize the death of a liberal candidate as a golden opportunity to hold a "memorial service" and get hours of free media coverage, while the service morphs into a screaming, drooling partisan political rally for the illegal replacement candidate. Actually, Minnesota law required that Wellstone be removed from the ballot and that a candidate replace him as his death happened before the date of no return to replace a candidate on the ballot.
Lautenburg was illegaly put on the ballot in NJ by the RAT Supreme Court.

Thank you for the correction. I was going for the composite effect, I suppose.

It really bothers me when I see conservatives claim that Mondale was illegaly put on the ballot. Because it isn't true. Some recent letters to the editor in some papers I read daily have said just that. And without fail, over the next couple days letters are printed refuting the original letter and making us conservatives look stupid for perpetuating the lie.
Hammer on NJ!

When certan liberal politicians are cited for misuse of public funds the usual response is racism.

Please add: (below the UN sentence..)
But you must also believe that a democrat president instigating an invasion by a defensive-only Western military alliance of a Slavic nation facing internal civil war over centuries-old, deep-seated ethnic hatred is praise-worthy and "peaceful" - though we anow are still occupying that country 10 years later, but attacking a dictator who has killed hundreds of thousands of its own citizens with gas and biological warfare, who has already sent missiles into Israel, who has already attacked its neighbors, who has already attacked the US, and who promises to use nuclear weapons as soon as he builds them, is "warlike."

Excellent... now, tell me again why we still have US troops in Bosnia?? Is it because the Europeans are too lazy and useless to clean their own back yard?

You must believe that Barbara Streisand, Martin Sheen and their usual band of Hollywood feel-good sycophants are smarter than the average citizen, and are therefore entitled to limitless media coverage to share their "feelings" with the public through speaking as so-called "authorities" in Congressional hearings.

We have to "create a level playing field" no matter how deep the hole necessary to create it.

We must hyphenate all Americans and emphasize our differences so that we can find common ground and unite.

We must continue dumbing down our educational system until America is no longer a threat to the rest of the world.

Damn, woman! YOU should have posted this thread!!

Wow! How could I have forgotten that one?
It's a liberal fundamental!

There's a million stories in the naked city.... ;-)

You believe corporate profits are obscene but government spending is too low and the American people are undertaxed.
You think deficits are caused by tax loopholes.

You don't understand all of the whining about affirmative action and are more than willing to sacrifice someone else's employment or education opportunity to assuage your guilt.

LIBERALS ( Gack! ) believe the NRA is bad, because they stand up for certain parts of the Constitution, while the ACLU is good, because they stand up for certain parts of the Constitution.
