Welcome to FR

A statement saying that your "large" donation and attendance at the convention hinges on a proper location and Cuba as second won't cut it either.

Nah do something that'd REALLY send the Democrats running for their Excedrin: Given how most Democrats (including X42) have treated the military, Have the covention in Norfolk VA, recently named by the US Census as 'The Military Capital of the United States'. *L* Then just sit back and watch them whine themselves into a migraine.

I think we sould have the convention in South Dakota on an Indian reservation. This would show the inclusiveness of the GOP, inspire the anti-Tommies there, and deflect any terrorist activity (since most Americans can't find SD on a map it's bound to be difficult for Al Queada).

That is a really good idea. They could have tons of military personnel around in dress uniforms and lots of military aircraft flyovers.

But, they want to widen the tent. Be more inclusive. I see more bloombergs in the future.

Mike Bloomberg is a liberal Democrat.

He ran for mayor as a Republican to avoid having to compete in a primary.

I would vote for Dinkins before I would cast a vote for Bloomberg.

In 2006 Bloomberg will suffer the biggest defeat in NYC history

Tampa is the other choice. I mean come on why even consider NYC when you think of Jeb's win?

Baghdad would be my choice for the convention. Saddam (if he isn't toast by then) could be the emcee, Bill and Hill and Al and Tipper could come along to show their dedication to political diversity, and Uday could give Tipper a big wet sloppy kiss.

Any hope of Lazio running in the next primary? Or does he think the Senate would be better?

The Republicans probably won't pick Tampa because after Jeb's big win GW probably considers Florida now a lock for 2004. New York on the other hand the Republicans may think if the convention is held there they might be able to pull off a win there.

I think they should hold it in Albany, NY.

But then again as Buffonberg leads NYC into ruin the other traitor Pataki will also run New York State into the ground. So Republicans should distance themselves from these 2 jokers.

If they do pick New York City It would be funny if they don't invite either of these two to attend.

I like the South Dakota Idea, Beside helping getting rid of Daschle it would also help our Senate candidate in North Dakota against Byron Dorgan

I suppose, but Bloomberg is still implementing socialist policies to deal with the financial crisis.

At least everybody knew what Mark Green was. Bloomberg, true to leftist Democrat form, deceived and led people to believe that he was something he isn't; I think people assumed that since Bloomberg was a "Republican" he would continue the ways of Guiliani. Bloomberg did nothing to disabuse voters of that assumption.

Talk about a shockaroo. Crime is shooting back up, ala David Dinkins, quality of life is plummeting, and a devastating increase in taxes that may very well be one of the final nails in the coffin of the New York economy is on it's way.

I wish now I had taken that trip to the city I planned when Guiliani was still mayor.
