Hey Americans...Let's Shut This Terrorist Bank Account Down The FBI Won't

Back to News / Home Page The Hamas (the outlawed Palestinian terrorist group) wants your money and they're not afraid to ask.
Go on line to their web site (**See update at end of article) and you'll see a blatant appeal for funds (portions of which I have reproduced below) to be used for jihad, or holy war.
The appeal starts off by a promise of heavenly rewards:
"The Almighty says, O you who believe shall I tell you about a deed that saves you from a grievous chastisement. Believe in Allah and his Prophet and support Him and strive with your goods and persons in the cause of Allah. That is best for you if you but knew. He will forgive you your sins and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow, and beautiful mansions in the gardens of eternity. That is indeed the supreme triumph ..."
The writer strengthens his argument with an illustration:
"A youth who has converted to Islam said: ‘O Allah's Prophet! I want to invade but I don't have a thing to prepare myself with.' The Prophet said: ‘Go to so-and-so for he has prepared, then he fell ill.' So the youth went to the man and said: ‘Allah's Prophet-may peace be upon him- sends you his regards and asks you to give me what you had prepared.' The man said, addressing a woman, ‘Give him what I prepared and don't keep a thing. I swear to God if you don't keep a thing Allah will bless you (in) everything.'" ...
The writer then appeals to the reader's sense of patriotism. "My warrior brothers and sisters. We invite you to dedicate a part of your money to the holy warriors who are defending the nation's honor and dignity."
Making sure all of his bases are covered, the writer continues:
"My Muslim brothers and sisters… If you are unable to participate in jihad (holy war) with us yourself, at least contribute to it with some of Allah's money, which He has deposited with you. My warrior brothers and sisters … In a time where everyone is declaring war upon Islam in order to eradicate it, we invite you to support your brothers in Palestine. For further information contact us via our electronic mail: support@kataed-ezzeldeen.com, Martyr Ezzeldeen Al-Kassam's Battalion: The Military Division of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas)"
I wanted to see what the response would be if I contacted the Hamas, so I sent them an e-mail asking for ways that I could help. This was the response I received dated Dec.20.
"How are you brother? We hope that you are doing very well! Thanks be to Allah and peace and blessings of Allah be upon His prophet Mohammed and upon his family, companions and followers.
"Dear noble mujahid brother, In fact words alone can not express our gratitude that you answered our appeal for donation, may Allah reward you and admit you to the Garden of Eden and paradise as well. We also ask Him to help you especially on the Day of Judgment.
"Dear donor, We assure you that all the money will be given to no body but to all the Mujahideen in Palestine.
This is the bank account : Name: Ayman atea mansour. Bank account no.: 38924/2/510. Arab bank- Gaza branch- Palestine ... Please send us a copy of the receipt (the paper that shows you paid the money) by mail or tell us the moment you send the amount of money. if you want us to decide it is also okay? send to e-mail support@kataeb-ezzeldeen.com when you send.
"Note: If you want to send money in the future, please let us know and do not use the same bank account, because we constantly change due to privacy and security necessity. So if you want just contact us and we will send you the bank account. may Allah reward you and be satisfied with you and make you a true mujahid. Thank you so very much from the leadership of Izz el-Deen el-Qassam Martyr Phalanxes. The Military Wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement ‘Hamas.'"
Take note of the name; the bank account number and the branch of the bank listed above. Over the last few months I have been sent a number of these bank account numbers, with similar accompanying messages. While I have passed the names and bank account numbers on to the FBI, my efforts have apparently been in vain as the account numbers are all still operational.
In addition, I'm still waiting to see reports of any investigation into the Arab Bank's Gaza Branch, which seems to be a repository for terrorist funds. The closest I have come to seeing any media interest was when I received a phone call a few months ago from an Israeli journalist, saying the magazine for which she works was looking into the Arab Bank's Gaza Branch for some alleged terrorist connections.
Taking into account the FBI's and the dominant media's apparent lack of interest in this issue, consider becoming a cyber vigilante. Get yourself a Hotmail account, e-mail the support address listed above and ask how you can "help. "Save your original e-mail (to protect yourself), the response from the Hamas and start calling your local FBI and media demanding that some attention be focused on this situation. If enough of us do this, something may just start happening.
**Update** " At press time, the ISP has shut down the site on which this message is carried and for that we are very grateful. However, e-mails to "support@kataeb-ezzeldeen.com," are not being returned as undeliverable, and the bank account listed is still at the Arab Bank Gaza Branch; the same as it was when the Hamas web site was on line with its former name of qassam.org.
