Most gloves don't fit when you're already wearing one when trying to put on another.

Latex gloves don't bulk enough to matter. The glove didn't fit and the prosecution's explanation, that it had shrunk, failed to explain how it could have shrunk while in state custody. Absent that explanation, the glove was genuinely exonerating evidence.

Doesn't leather dry and stiffen when it gets wet? Plus, his hands were large to begin with. The gloves may never have perfectly fit in the first place (speculation on my part).

I really hope you are simply saying that the glove episode was just another of the prosecutorial mistakes that caused a mulitple murderer to go free.
