Gee, does anyone think there are 10's of thousands on hand?
(sarcasm)
Oh yeah, now the rich against the poor.....exploited our grief over 9/11 to wage war against our enemies.

Oh, my God, Tyne Daly.
Actually she was in that cop show Cagney & Lacey. About her only other claim to fame, was that she was once married to the actor Georg Stanford Brown.

Oh No! The Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgender People are against this Racist War! What shall we do? I must hastily change my pro-war views to align myself with the more moderate mainstream views of the media and the Lesbian Transgender people!

"Even if there are WMD in Iraq, how did they get them" THIS GUY IS IGNORANT. I know Saddam bought 790 Scuds for Russia.

I did not see a single hand go up when he asked how many there were union members. He should have asked how many were on the dole.

Jeffry Buechler, from Blacksburg, Va., holds out markers as he encourages people to draw peace symbols on his body as he joins other anti-war protesters who gather infront of the U.S. Capitol prior to the start of the National March on Washington that will culminate by a march to the Washington Naval Yard, Saturday Jan. 18, 2003 in Washington. Protesters rallied by the thousands in world capitals Saturday and came out in the bitter cold of Washington in a day of dissent against U.S. war plans in Iraq. (AP Photo/Pablo Martinez Monsivais) |

Kinda boring if you ask me. I enjoyed the queers for peace guy. Odd that the majority of these speakers can't speak English. The crowd seems very light for such a hype. Maybe they are waiting for Marin Sheen to come out( after it warms up a bit of course)

I wonder how people like Zell Miller feel when he sees these people on C-span, and realizes that 100% of them consider themselves Democrats.

Damn Reuters can't write.
Americans opposed to waging war in Iraq streamed into Washington under blue skies and bright sunshine January 18, 2003 for mass protests demanding the White House back down and give U.N. weapons inspectors a chance. Tens of thousands of people are expected to demonstrate in Washington and San Francisco, representing what organizers said would be the largest showing of U.S. anti-war sentiment since President Bush (news - web sites) started making his case for attacking Baghdad last year. A woman carries a sign during a counter-demonstration assembling near the Vietnam Veteran's memorial. (Mannie Garcia/Reuters)

Good point. UN Security Council vote was 15-0 including Syria and the US Senate passed their resolution with 87 votes including several RATS.
Also, did the same vermin hit the streets when Slick bombed Kosovo? This is just leftist anarchists trying to re-live the 60's.
