Chavez has funded Al-Qaeda and the Taliban after 9/11 to the tune of $1,000,000. That makes Chavez a part of the Axis of Evil, so it becomes America's business.

Venezuela is just further proof that the US has no "blood for oil" policy. If we truly did, our forces would already be there.

Of course, this isn't pointed out in the press.

I am the last one to volunteer sending some 19 year old kid from Nebraska to some hot spot on a whim. I think we should bring our boys home from Korea for example. However, we have a dog in this fight. 13% of our oil comes from Venezuela, the Monroe Doctrine clearly mandates our intervention, and the Communists are quickly grabbing hold of our southern neighbors. The Chicoms control the Panama Canal and have the world's largest naval base in the Bahamas. Chavez, Castro, and now Lula, are calling for a revolution in Columbia. Argentina is poised to topple.

I am no alarmist, but nothing good can come from this.

I want to see this Marxist clown go down, too, but I haven't heard of the Al-Qaeda ties. Where did you hear this?

I agree with the potential dangers.

Lets clean the decks in the Middle East and then Korea if we have to.

Then, we can tend to Chavez and Castro. I would volunteer if they would have an old 64 year grampa to help in taking out Castro and his bastard son, Chavez.

A good point that bears repeating.

Chavez says: Comrades we must step our activities against the yankee imperialist slave dogs counter revolutionary sabotage, the true victory of socialism will be expressed through our indominatble will to liquidate the yanqui capitalist parasites slave dog puppet kulaks as a class. Peace, land, and bread all power to the proleteriat Venezuala must be liberated from foreign imperialist and their kulak puppets.

Does my commie propaganda sound authentic?

He is a prime student of his daddy, Tio Fidel.

We have tolerated Fidel due to the hidden treaties signed after the Cuban Crisis with the USSR.

The USSR is gone. After we take the Chess players off of the Middle East Board, we can take care of Castro. I think that if Castro goes, Chevez will fall very quickly.

What you posted below, could become Chavez's smoking gun:

Last I looked Chavez wasn't the one carrying out armed coups in the middle of the night.

Other way around. Chavez supplies Castro with oil.

Neither am I. Still, the fact that Venezuela is the third-largest supplier of oil to the United States makes me a tad nervous...

You have a pretty distorted picture of what happened in April.

Update:

Unclear whether or not the military or the Bolivarian Guards fired the shots. Two dead and many others wounded.

The Chicoms control the Panama Canal and have the world's largest naval base in the Bahamas.

And Jimmy Carter simply gave it to them. Idiot Democrats!

I am no alarmist, but nothing good can come from this.

True, but we're busy right now. It appears Clintons third way, i.e., socialism support, has empowered the the rest of the world not to fear the freedom loving Americans. We're being set up to become a socialst nation ourselves via the democrat party and U.N. It's their vision of eternal power.

We're stuck dealing with communist N.Korea, a dictator in Iraq, terrorists Muslims, and now this. All friends of the left. It's quite the burden we're carryng right now to keep America free when our own nation is 50% socialist. I hope we can win this.

Bravo. Those hoarding kulaks must be exterminated for the sake of the people, the party, and the revolution.
