I haven't read all of this yet but tidbits seem to point to an arrest, then a judge sealing the proceedings due to their ~salacious nature~. That plus he was arrested under the name William Ritter. The courts being owned by the left, the fix was in to keep it quiet. Something like that.

The current Scott Ritter seems to be quite different than the patriotic inspector we saw 5 years ago. Apparently, his attorney says he was arrested and a station has him on film at Burger King. The only thing that makes sense is that:

1. He is the first cloned adult, or

2. He really does have multiple personality disorder...he may really think someone else was arrested.

The Brit Hume report was out of date on this fact. He was referring to the response el-Ritar gave a few days ago "you must have the wrong guy." His attorney has since acknowledged the arrest and now the TV station says they have video showing el-Ritar's bust.

The sequence of events seemed plausible; an outspoken critic of Sadamm comes home in '98 with fiery rhetoric against the UN and the US Govt for not dealing with Sadamm, then all of a sudden becomes a shill for Iraq, gets busted and gets out of it ala Clinton. So it happened on Bushes watch. It takes some muscle to seal a court case....

You are probably right. But Pete Townsends money, media connections, and celebrity status couldnt shield him from the publicity, same with the guy who played the principal in Ferris Bueller. This is really interesting, who covered it up and pulled the strings to seal the case? I will be following this story......

Update:More Details in Former Weapons Inspector's Arrest

More details are emerging on the arrest of former UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter. The Delmar resident was arrested by Colonie police in June of 2001 on a misdemeanor charge. And Channel 6 News has learned that Ritter had been issued a warning after being caught by police once before.

Colonie police will not confirm any of this, but Channel 6 News learned that Ritter was caught in a sex sting early in 2001. He was issued a warning then, but eventually arrested for the same thing three months later. Ritter, who has made national headlines for speaking out against going to war with Iraq is keeping silent on this issue. He has been unavailable for comment since details of his arrest were made public.

In June of 2001, Ritter was accused of engaging in a sexual discussion, on the Internet with a person who he thought, was a 14 year old girl. It was actually an undercover investigator who agreed to meet with Ritter. When Ritter arrived at the location, expecting to meet the girl, police warned him that he had been set up.

Three months later Ritter allegedly fell into the same trap, only this time he was arrested. The misdemeanor charge relating to child endangerment was eventually disposed of and sealed. Assistant District Attorney Cynthia Preiser has since lost her job over the incident. Albany County DA Paul Clyne fired Preiser on Friday because he says she never informed him that the case against Ritter even existed. Prieser would not comment and Ritter has also been unavailable for comment.

The case against Ritter was eventually sealed, preventing everyone from disclosing details about the case. In fact, Ritter can deny it ever happened since sealed cases essentially mean, it never happened.

CNN tells Channel 6 News, Ritter is on his way to Baghdad, but will be in New York City tomorrow to shoot an anti war message.

Yes, one would think that he apparently is not that big at all, considering the type of women he preferred. However, considering the circumstances, he should probably be arrested and questioned about the Anthrax Attacks within the US.
