"I'm coming to the conclusion that libertarians are stupider than liberals. I'm sorry that I am driven to name call but libertarians never answer my challenges with facts; just drivel and slogans. In fact, trying to have an honest debate with a libertarian is like trying to have an honest debate with my pro-abortion pro-homo anti-gun dope smoking sister."
Dear 'pram'; - consider that the ~reason~ that 'libertarians never answer your challenges with facts', --- may be that with such an obvious 'in your face' anti-libertarian prejudice, why bother?

Rate the commercials for adult content. Someone will invent software to block the commercials. The ad agencies will see their ad revenue drop and they will quit making the commercials.

Makes sense to me, but it will never satisfy Mr/Mrs Comstock, who MUST legislate morality. - And be obeyed.

~ that 'libertarians never answer your challenges with facts', --- may be that with such an obvious 'in your face' anti-libertarian prejudice, why bother? I didn't start off that way - I have asked numerous times, politely, for honest debate and have never gotten serious answers. Only slogans and drivel. If any libertarians can ever answer questions and bring realism to the debate, I will be happy. But I just haven't seen it happen. I am always anxious to do a point by point with libertarians. But they just won't do it.

Be my guest. Feel free to pick a point from the article, and argue it.
I will rebut.

"Banned in Boston" was not the name of some pre-MTV melodious troope from colonial times, and was not intended merely for heinous acts, but for heinous objects, too. Heinous objects banned in Boston, as per CJ's utopian world view:

--- it's based on self control, my dear, -- if necessary, abstinence from the fleshy pleasures of TV, books, movies, etc. will work wonders on delusions that "society is being destroyed"
A child does not have self-control.

How obvious. - That's what parents are for, protecting children from the fleshy pleasures of unsuitable TV, books, movies, etc.

Shouldn't that be:

Under the different strokes category, the current ad that does bug me is the Smirnoff Ice commercial where a bunch of heroin chic retards total out a laundromat and start dancing. Am I the only one who's noticing that more and more commercials (music videos have done it forever) that equate vandalism with having fun?Watch the end of the commercial. When the woman rises from the foam it appears as if she has just finished doing something rather naughty. Am I the only one who has noticed?

If that was the intent of that shot, then she must not have been doing a very good job of it. The guy's expression suggests that he didn't know that she was down there.

When your 12 year old daughter is watching football w/you when the commercial comes on it bothers me a bit. Why would that bother you? Aren't you in your own house?
Or are you in the same room with him and his daughter while they're watching football?

Connecting the War on Guns & Drugs [my title] Thank you, sir, I will be happy to oblige later tonight when I start my generator! (Not enough juice on the laptop right now.) Could you propose another topic for some choice? I already debated a libertarian on that one and he dropped out. I don't mind that one but I would like another topic for variety.

There are 500+ posts on that thread on nearly any topic. - Read them, -- pick out an opinion, and make your point.
