Shuttle has NOT been heard from or seen on tracking radar since 0800Hrs CDT. No contact at Merrit Island tracking station, no voice comm...DEVELOPING.

CBS News just reported on radio that something struck the shuttle on launch.

This really sucks
IF you look closely at the CNN video you can see a couple large and several small explosions, along with a main contrail that appears to be coming from something that is spinning.

Looking at that video, it appears to have broken into 4 smaller pieces then the main section broke in half.
