Shuttle Contact LOST-No Tracking Data During RE-Entry!

Shuttle has NOT been heard from or seen on tracking radar since 0800Hrs CDT. No contact at Merrit Island tracking station, no voice comm...DEVELOPING.

Earlier, someone said they felt the same as they did when the Challenger exploded. I didn't agree because I didn't think we would get to see this one. Now here is video of the whole thing. What amazing times we live in.

JUST ANNOUNCED: Bush administration about to gather an inter-agency conference.
We can hope that their fate was very quick and catastrophic.
The shuttle is and has always been an engineering disaster waiting to happen. We can hardly be surprised that this has happened again.

We live only a half hour from Kennedy Space Center...
...our son is in Dallas.
I just called to tell him...
