ANNOUNCER: Live from the George Washington University, Paul Begala and Tucker Carlson.
(blah, blah, blah........)
BEGALA: Using the full force of his considerable persuasive talents as well as satellite photos and intercepted Iraqi conversations, Secretary of State Colin Powell told the U.N. Security Council and the watching world that Iraq has, quote, "An active and systematic effort," unquote, to hide weapons of mass destruction and has given training to al Qaeda terrorists. Secretary of State Powell was the right man for the difficult job. He is by far, the most respected and trusted figure in America, perhaps the whole world, but his boss, President Bush is now suffering from a full blown credibility crisis. In the latest CNN/Gallup poll, about half of all Americans said they think the Bush administration would present evidence it knew was inaccurate. And a whopping 58 percent said Mr. Bush would even conceal evidence that went against his position to persuade us to go to war in Iraq.
Said Mr. Bush, if we could have reached him for current, I promised in the campaign I wouldn't lie about sex. I never said anything about war. Of course, he never actually said that, I should be clear.
TUCKER CARLSON CO-HOST: This says -- this truly, I say this more in somewhat anger, this is yet Democratic party has no credibility on terrorism or foreign policy. Today we learned...
BEGALA: Because the American people think Bush would lie?
CARLSON: Because, we know today for certain that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction they have chemical and biological weapons. And the question remains what do we do about it? Neither you nor any Democrat I know has the answer to that question.

This AM happened to catch a snip of their morning show on CNN. Someguy was giving the Iraqis and French a good tongue lashing and Paula Zahn was agreeing.
All the time he and Zahn are talking, there is another "head" Bill Hemmer) just sitting there not saying anything with a "Who $hit in my Easter basket look on his face."

I rarely if ever tune in, and when I do it's for pure opposition research.
I usually can't take more than 90 seconds max of The Bug.
Watching Begala is like watching a thousand pustule-ridden people vomiting and defecating en masse---you just have to change the channel quickly.

(SUPPORT PRESIDENT BUSH)
To: RooRoobird14
<< So, your life is in the hands of two career politicians who have no prior experience in terrorism. Mr. Bush defended promoting Mr. Huchison, noting, quote, "If it weren't for meritless promotions based political contacts I wouldn't be president today."
I made that quote up. I made the quote up. >>
<< Said Mr. Bush, if we could have reached him for current, I promised in the campaign I wouldn't lie about sex. I never said anything about war. Of course, he never actually said that, I should be clear. >>
<<< I mean, every body's going to support anything our commander in chief tells us to do once men and women are in harm's way. >>>
<<< Later, why has the media become so cowed by the Bush White House and the right wing kooks >>>>
And these are just some quotes from the forehead. Jeez, I have never watched the show, and I don't plan on it, but making up quotes, calling people who are right kooks, and this is some sort of "news?"
Oh and FYI Begala, no they will not support the President just because the military has gone in.
To: RooRoobird14
Said Mr. Bush,..... Of course, he never actually said that, I should be clear. Huh?
Remember, Begala is the guy who said "Stroke of the pen, Law of the Land. Kinda cool."

Wow, I so agree about Begala's comment and his relevance. I also believe x42's people are going to be devastated in 2004, to the point that they will be unrelevant in politics for generations to come. This can only be good for America.
I have been following FOX's running poll about whether or not Iraq has WMD's - before Powell's presentation, the number was 67% - after the speech, it went up to 87%. I haven't seen it today, so it may have gone higher.
Begala's comment has NO PROOF - and he knows it. These people from x42's goon squad have not yet learned that the public is awake and paying attention, and CNN is not leading the world in news any more. I'm quite sure some who watch CNN will believe him, but their market share proves that will not be a very large audience.
Remember, there is only one goal - discredit Bush! They don't care if they have to lie to do it - they did it for an 8-yr presidency - it's nothing new to them.

If he supports the Democrats in their infanticide agenda then he can kiss his Roman Catholic butt goodbye. Too many people CLAIM to be Catholic for their own gain and not for the glory of God.

True, true.
I believe that it is good to hope and pray for peace. We must have some who object to war. It is good that in our country a person can object publically about the course our leader takes, and not have to worry about being tortured, raped or killed; or watching as their children are tortured, raped and killed, for having spoken out. Unfortunately, there is a despot in Iraq who does not allow his people that same freedom!
I love how the Dems try to paint Republicans as war mongers. I believe that it was a Democrat who got us into World War I; World War II; Korea; Vietnam; and a Democrat who dropped two atomic bombs on innocent civilians.
It was a Republican who got us out of Vietnam. It was a Republican who stopped the cold war. It was a Republican who opened the door of friendship with China. A Republican who made peace with Russia.
It was a democrat who sent cruise missles around Iraq and Afghanistan with no clear plan, killing innocent civilians....a democrat who left our boys hanging in the streets of Somalia...who set this whole situation up, by doing nothing with Bin Laden after the 1st WTC Bombing (1993), Somalia (1993), The Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia (1997), the U.S. Embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania (1998), and The Cole bombing (2002)! He taught the terrorists that we will send a few missles, pick up and leave them alone, if they attack us...so, they attack more and more.
These democratic arguments are so lame. War is not going to win Bush political points! Young people dying, budget deficits, and gas shortages....these are not the things a President wants to happen during his administration! War did not help former Presidents, there is no reason in the world for Bush to think it would help him now! How stupid to say he wants this! They keep saying that "it is all about oil"....how? How in the world would Bush make any money off of the Iraqi oil, especially when Saddam has said he will set the fields a fire? It is an empty argument, and we need to stand up to it.
You see, they can not take Bush at his word, because in the democratic world, nothing is as it seems....words have double meanings. These dems can not fathom that someone might actually be telling them the truth....they say and do what is advantages to their own personal career or pocket books; they use people to fulfill their personal lusts and don't understand sacrifice for the greater good.
President Bush is willing to make the hard, grown-up, choices; he is willing to give up his own reputation, his own political career, his own personal gain, to try and keep us safe from those who want to kill us. To try and protect our freedom, and bring freedom to others. They don't understand the concept.

Paul Begala is a "Roman Catholic" cut out of the same nauseating cloth as Fat B*st*rd (The Swimmer) Ted Kennedy and Nancy Botoxly. In other words, they should have been ex-communicate a
LONG time ago for being abortion-on-demand and partial-birth abortion activists.
Rapist Clinton is also supposedly a bible-carrying Baptist. Right......
To: RooRoobird14
One of my favorite Begala-isms (CNN wonders why Crossfire is doing so poorly in the ratings):
"But if you look closely at that map you see a more complex picture. You see the state where James Byrd was lynch-dragged behind a pickup truck until his body came apart its red. You see the state where Matthew Shepard was crucified on a split-rail fence for the crime of being gay its red. You see the state where right-wing extremists blew up a federal office building and murdered scores of federal employees its red. The state where an Army private who was thought to be gay was bludgeoned to death with a baseball bat, and the state where neo-Nazi skinheads murdered two African-Americans because of their skin color, and the state where Bob Jones University spews its anti-Catholic bigotry: theyre all red too."
Paul Begala, MSNBC.com website, 11.13.2000
To: RooRoobird14
The far-head is a smuck. Take what he says with a grain of salt.
To: RooRoobird14
This is nonsense.
Bush's highest poll ratings are in the areas of intergrity and being trusted by Americans.
Begala must think Clinton is still in office.

We know the President is an honest man, by his words and deeds. For two years we've paid attention as he says what he means and does what he says.
If some Americans now believe that our President is dishonest, it is not the fault of the President. They are listening to liars and choosing to believe the liars.
Those who continue to smear and undermine our President 24/7 - Paul Begala and the thousands of left-wing journalists who make up the mainstream press - provide talking points for Saddam Hussein.

He is one of the reasons that CNN is tanking. They are too dumb to realize that normal people are so offended, not so much by his ultra-left wing views, but by his pure mendacity. Shhhhhh.........don't say that too loud.......the CNN programming directors might hear you......
Yes, but. I'm not going to argue if CNN starts fairly representing conservative views on their network. I'm not however holding my breath.
