CNSNews.com) - Lawyers from a homosexual advocacy group took depositions from a Massachusetts parent this week, almost three years after he first exposed "Fistgate," a state-sponsored workshop in which educators instructed teens in graphic homosexual sex.
The deposition of Brian Camenker, taken Tuesday by lawyers for the Boston-based Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders, is an effort to put parents under financial strain and to discourage others around the country from bringing similar workshops to light, Camenker charged.
"If they are able to be able to beat us in Massachusetts, they can continue to hound any parent who gets in their way," said Camenker, president of the Parents Rights Coalition.
Two Massachusetts Department of Education staffers lost their jobs because of their involvement in the state-funded workshop held at Tufts University in March 2000, called "What They Don't Tell You About Queer Sex and Sexuality in Health Class." The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network co-sponsored the workshop.
Homosexual advocacy groups have been pursuing lawsuits against Camenker and Scott Whiteman, another parent, for secretly recording, exposing and publicizing the event, in which instructors encouraged children as young as 14 years of age to engage in life-threatening sex acts. One instructor told the students: "Fisting often gets a bad rap."
"Fistgate" soon attracted national prominence. Among others, Sean Hannity discusses the event in his book, Let Freedom Ring, and William Bennett talks about the event in his book, The Broken Hearth . This past week, Alan Keyes made a trip to Boston to speak on behalf of Camenker and Whiteman, as well as rally support for their cause.
Legal defense costs since homosexual advocacy groups first deposed Camenker and Whiteman in the summer of 2000 have reached well over $100,000, Camenker said.
"It has a certain national significance as to what the gays can do to parents who expose the stuff," he added.
The Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders did not return calls for comment.

Sure. But, 'fisting gets a bad rap'? For teenagers?
Personally, I think the Gay Goon Squad planted the question through a stooge, although regrettably that cannot be proven.
They gave the wrong answer, anyway. The right answer is "Fisting is a vile, profoundly sick, septic, sensitive tissue tearing, demeaning and shameful behavior that no young man or woman should ever be sujected to or allow him or herself to be subjected to."
The whacky State of Massachussets and its Perversion General may have decided the "crime" was that a concerned parent taped the Gay Goon Squad as it strived in public facilities (in which the name of God may not be raised) to undermine and destroy the morals and health of the attendees. The final chapter hasn't been written yet. The final judgment is pending, and when it falls it will fall hard indeed.

Fisting is out of context and sensationalization, why teach it in the first place? Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
How convoluted a homosexual’s or mad “gay’s” common sense becomes when justifying perversion. I guess it’s just part of the pathology.
Madg, you're not addressing the actual information that was recorded in the workshop. You, GLSEN, and every other pro-homosexual supporter have tried to desperately to convince everyone that the "queer sex" workshop was an anomaly. Yet, as I pointed out in reply 295, we clearly hear a representative from a homosexual organization that makes hundreds of presentations every year ( reply 257 ) saying that he, as a "guest speaker," discusses sexually explicit topics such as those covered in the Fistgate workshop in public middle schools.
As much as you'd like us to believe that this is "utterly transparent propaganda," the tape confirms that these discussions with minor children occur in public schools. The evidence presented leads us to believe that this occurs more often than the homosexual community will admit.

I ask again, WHY are YOU so adverse to a request that the DA and/or the AG make an official and public ruling on Scott Whiteman's complaint? The complaint stated that that what the presenters discussed with minor children in that work shop could be considered obscene and harmful to minors under MGL. The DA has an eyewitness and evidence on tape, and as I have pointed out, Education Commissioner Driscoll's expert opnion ( 280 ) that the contents of the workshop "were of a prurient nature and not educational." In the workshop, Whiteman observed and heard material being discussed with minor children that could be considered obscene and harmful and had a civic duty to report it. Without the evidence on tape, do you actually think the workshop presenters would have admitted that this occurred?

According to MGL and Education Commissioner Driscoll, and the evidence we've heard on the tape, that certainly seems to be the case for the workshop presenters.

It's quite obvious that you, the homosexual community, and your supporters want to vilify and destroy Camenker and Whiteman. The "matter," "AS IT IS," has not been resolved.

"Faced with the irrefutable evidence of his employees' actions, David Driscoll, commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Education, admitted Tuesday:
"The participation of our staff in conversations with students about explicit issues of sexuality outside the realm of AIDS/HIV prevention was wrong. The workshops were of prurient nature, and not educational, and what we heard suggests that the discussion contributed absolutely nothing to the students' understanding of how to avoid AIDS and HIV."

As we heard, the workshop presenters sure didn't address these issues slowly, carefully, and with great attention to accuracy and truth. Oh no, it was take it to the kids, full speed ahead!
