A top German official visited The Wall Street Journal's editorial offices last week and tried to make a moral case for allowing Saddam Hussein to remain in power. Instead he revealed more about why Germany wants to keep the dictator in Baghdad and the need for the U.S. to press for reform in "old Europe" as well as in the Middle East.

The job of the "Inspectors" is to merely certify compliance with a set list agreed terms. By "adding" up to 5,000 to thier number as the Germans propose, they are changing their task from certifying compliance to hunting for violations. Why should the Germans or the French be allowed to bargin away the UN/US 91 cease-fire--isn't that unilateral on their part? Don't they need the UN? Don't they need their allies for such action?
Why can't the media frame this issue with consistancy? Is it they don't want to?

We know what happened in American and Britain--Ronald Reagan and Maggie Thatcher emerged and brought with them a new set of governing ideas. Unfortunately the British socialists are back in power, for a number of years, and reversing the gains made by Maggie's courage. And we know first-hand the damage done by the Clintons.

The Fermans think that the 5000 will "contain" Hussein. Although I believe that this is another attempt at strengthening the the UN at our expense. It is probably time to exit the UN.

Remember three months ago? The liberal media mantra was "How can we attack Saadam? There is no proof he has WMD!
Now that there is proof, other excuses are being used.
I wonder if they will still invent excuses when their grandchildren are murdered by terrorists.

Slobbo didn't have WMD, but the libbies said "Bombs Away." They say, "What has Saddam ever done to us?" Of course, "What did Slobbo ever do to us?" But there they were, these "war is never the answer" types, cheering away when the bombs fell on Belgrade.

Slobbo is a good example. There was not one anti-war march, not one major democrat against the war.
Of course, Slobbo was "A White Male"

pingggggg...
Hayek knew of what he spoke when he foresaw the march to serfdom of the Europeans....these weasels still don't see the writing on the wall , that their whole continent is in danger from radical Islamist fascism...would only that they hear the voices of reason from across the channel and across the Atlantic before it is too late...

I sat in the theater with my jaw hanging as I imagined the battles in "Lord of The Rings: Twin Towers" to be an allegory for what we face
Imagine all of Europe gone Islamo-crazy, and the tribes scaling the walls of our country
Scary indeed
