If war breaks out France and Germany are to blameIn listening to Rush today, he said he used to think France and Germany's opposition was because of the gas they get from Iraq. He now thinks it goes waaay! beyond that. He thinks they are fearful once we get into Iraq we will find France and Germany have supplied them with Weapons of Mass Destruction.

al Qaeda can still get its coded messages out, Binny or not.
Dead right! It doesn't really matter if Binny is alive or dead (snicker, good old Rummy). He is nothing more than a personification of AlQueda. One and the same. This is a message from Al-queda with everything that entails.

Something is definitely going on: the killing of a Kurdish leader a few days ago, a tape from bin Laden, probably coded to his supporters (so they rise up in support of Saddam)...the high alert we're on.
SHIVER.

The Al-qaeda sympathizers at the DU truly are dumb. For months, they have been saying that Bush has failed to get Bin laden, especially when the November audio tape came out. Now when another "Bin laden" tape comes out, they say its false and doctored, because it links Al-qaeda to Iraq. I'm so glad I converted from a Democrat to a Republican.

Are the languages very similiar?? Quite unrelated. Farsi is an Indo-European language, like English. Arabic is a Semitic language, like Hebrew. Farsi does have a lot of word borrowings from Arabic, however.

This is a message from Al-queda with everything that entails. It's probably the signal to begin the actions as planned.

I wonder why OBL doesn't fedex these tapes to FOX or CNN? Jim McDermott is his point man here in America, isn't he? Why not just email an MP3 file to his buddy Jim, and Jim can download it onto a CD and bring it in to CNN himself.

Did Shep just mention that Bin Laden made a comment to Russia if they went to war with America?

Stocks Fall After News of Bin Laden Tape
Tue February 11, 2003 03:08 PM ET
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stocks fell across the board on Tuesday afternoon after news of a statement from Osama bin Laden reignited
investor jitters that war with Iraq was drawing closer.
Secretary of State Colin Powell disclosed what appeared to be a new audiotape from bin Laden, saying it suggested further links between
global terrorism and Iraq.
"It has everything to do with the bin Laden headline," said Peter Boockvar, equity strategist, at Miller Tabak & Co. "The market turned around
when Powell spoke about the tape. It has everything to do with this."
The al-Jazeera satellite television channel said it had received a statement from bin Laden urging Muslim solidarity with Iraq and would
broadcast it later in the day.
Also weighing on the market was Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan's cautious outlook on the economy.
The blue-chip Dow Jones industrial average .DJI added to losses, falling 82.79 points, or 1.05 percent, to 7,837.32. The broader Standard &
Poor's 500 Index .SPX was off 8.30 points, or 0.99 percent, at 827.67. The tech-laced Nasdaq Composite .IXIC shed gains, and was last
down 6.58 points, or 0.51 percent, to 1,290.10.

Awful lot of mentions of trenches!
Trench warfare is WWI style where they used chemical weapons as I recall. Correct?
