Last I heard, they said they never heard of any tape?! When did they find it? Either they were lying through their teeth, or else the U.S. intelligence is so good that we knew a tape was due to arrive at Al J before they knew it.

"Tape" is "real"............................ ...........but, is the voice. Good question. Almost beside the point. I think he's dead. But that doesn't mean the tape isn't meant to be whatever it is -- ie warning, message etc...
Whether bin Laden is alive or dead and they are still using him as a symbol doesn't change the issues at hand or concerns the tape brings up.
