Just a nit: the balmoral (cap) is tilted the wrong way, and the sgian dubh (stocking knife) is normally worn on the right.It's amazing- no matter how obscure the subject, there is always an expert present on Free Republic. The wealth of knowledge submitted here is mind-boggling.

I didn't think I had ever watched that episode before.
An hour ago, I turned the TV on so I could watch some of the shows I had taped and the Simpsons was on. It was the episode where Bart had eaten a piece of metal out of a box of Crusty's breakfast cereal and he was too sick to go to school. He had to go anyway because no one but Lisa would believe him.
This was the episode that had Wille teaching French and the lunch lady as the school nurse.
Later, Lisa visits Bart in the hospital and she finds Bleeding Gums Murphy in another room.

But really, with as many participants as FR has, from pretty much all walks of life, is it surprising? (I've even run into at least one other Scots Gaelic learner here -- and that is a small world indeed.)
