Fort Worth Telegram "reporter" calls conservative group "jackbooted fascists" over Clinton protest
Young Conservatives of Texas
Posted on 02/28/2003 1:34:34 AM PST by GOPcapitalist
Some of you may remember a couple weeks ago when Bill Clinton came to speak at UT. Austin conservatives, including the Young Conservatives of Texas organization (YCT), organized a protest of the speech. Shortly before the speech, YCT emailed a press release announcing the protest to media sources in Texas. Well, one of them, a so-called unbiased objective "reporter" with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram decided to respond to the press release with an email of his own...complete with name calling, democrat activism, and the anti-war garbage that dominates the mindset of your average reporter. Whoever handled the YCT email list decided to share his response, so here it is:
Re: NEWS ADVISORY: YCT to Protest Bill Clinton Lecture at UT on Wednesday
Date: Mon, 10 Feb 2003 11:29 EST
From: "Steve McLinden"
To: Young Conservatives of Texas
Ah, the heartless, greedy, anti-intellectual little fascists are mobilizing again. (Let me guess. All you frat boys saved up your allowances and monies from your McDonald's jobs for those Beemers you'll be driving to the protest, and those new jackboots you'll be sportin' enroute). Hey, don't forget all the nasty little deals that Reagan's henchmen cut with Middle East figures that got us directly into this mess today. I'm sure you'll be protesting the Reagan household any day now. By the way, is it not enough to have the White House and Congress? Would you like to stamp out all signs that we are a two-party, Democratic country? What's that? You would? How noble of you. I salute you and your polarized, little status-quo world.

Apparently, in this "reporter's" world, "journalistic integrity" is oxymoronic.

Har har har... the little twerp rails at us for asserting our freedom of speech? Now who's a little fascist? Wow, such intellectual brilliance from our lefty journalistic herd, especially down in Texas!

Dear Steve:
I'm sorry for your blinding bias. Ronald Reagan brings murderous, brutal dictatorships like the Soviet Union to their knees. In comparison, your hero Bill Clinton brings a bunch of whores to his knees. What a conquistador! Even Stevie Wonder could see that difference.
Sincerely,
Russell Scott

I'm scratching my head. Isn't a two party Country polarized? So what's it's problem?

Both clinton and his whore of a wife should be protested wherever they go. The ran America as if it were their own shakedown operation. Both in my honest opinion are criminals. But you better be careful of they may have you killed like they have so many others.

That email is very damning.
I wouldnt send him anything, I would forward the email and copies of it to his editor and send it to the rival newspaper and local radio stations.

Lest Americans ever forget why the clintons, and all their enablers need to be hectored, hounded, and harried into silence, until "clintonese is only spoken in Hell," look here:

I wonder if Mr. McLinden has any thoughts about the many incidents on university campuses in which Leftist protestors have used violence and deliberate disruption to prevent a conservative from speaking? Do you suppose he'd share them with us?

Just remember folks, the Fort Worth Startlegram is the rag that gives the world the one and only (and thank God for that) Molly Ivans (the one person in the world who makes Maureen Dowd look conservative). So, just consider the source.

Democrats, hummmm
After careful consideration,
Extensive research,
Reflection upon past experiences,
Study of their actions vs. rhetoric,
Discussion with others whom have also studied them,
Contemplation of various outcomes,
Analysis of pertinent facts,
Scrutinizing the information as a whole,
I have come to this ultimate conclusion......
Democrats $uck.

E-mail addresses can be forged. You might want to check the headers, or even use Spamcop to trace it to the point of origin.
And if it's legit, crush that idiot like a bug.

From my brief exposure, I doubt it. I highly suspect that he primarily emotes.
