Thank you, scripter, for keeping us up-to-date! (even though you're busy!)
This is yet another reason (do we need any more?) why people of ANY faith (or no faith) need to get their kids out of gov't schools!
Note to all parents who may want to homeschool their kids but are afraid: I taught my kids mostly at home starting 26 years ago when there was almost no homeschool "movement", I didn't even graduate from high school, and much of the time didn't even have regular scheduled school work - and my kids learned and became very educated! Anyone can do it -that's how children learned for generations!

Rather than sharing the truth that no one is born "gay," that in most cases homosexuality develops in one's childhood and that complete change to "healthy heterosexuality" is completely possible, the students are mislead...

"The "gay" or homo-sympathetic counselor, in many cases following GLSEN guidelines, will usually affirm the questioning youths' 'gay' feelings and encourage them down the homosexual path. These counselors will then often refer the students to outside homosexual organizations and 'gay' clubs - without parental knowledge or consent.

Seems like this part of a master plan for recruitment?

"You Can Make a Difference

So, what can you do on April 9, 2003 - the "Day of Silence" - to make a difference?"

THINK...Outside the Triangle!

The following excellent information was posted on Choice4Truth.com's web site for the 2002 "Truth Without Interruption Day", so the date will need to be changed if students decide to use these documents:

Truth Without Interruption Day - Talking Points

Truth Without Interruption Day - April 10, 2002
A Welcome and Measured Response to the "Day of Silence" Project
Talking Points

Today, some students and educators on this campus will be conducting a "day of silence" during which they will be making certain nonverbal statements about homosexual, bisexual and transgendered behavior.

Truth Without Interruption Day is an open expression by other students, teachers and supporters of a somewhat different viewpoint. We welcome, at last, a clear and unhampered opportunity to state what many have been thinking, but unable to say.

Our viewpoint is one that's usually censored and stopped by name-calling, false accusations, threats of lawsuits, and insults. While we promise that our methods will be peaceful, they will also be truthful, and we will bring some unpleasant and unfortunate information to light. We wish this did not have to be the case.

However, the end is positive-if we are allowed to continue to the end. We hope that the promise of silence is kept, so that we can get to the good part.

The Truth about so-called "gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered" practices can now be told! Students deserve to get the whole story about these behaviors, such as:

Please-open your ears, minds and hearts-and hear the truth today. It may extend or save the life of someone you care about.

How to Organize a "Truth Without Interruption Day" Event

How to Organize a "Truth Without Interruption Day" Event
Responding to the homosexual activist "Day of Silence" April 10, 2002

  1. Get a motivated group together who want to take advantage of the opportunity the "Day of Silence" provides! It should be comprised of two or more students from the high school or college campus where you will hold the event; teachers, if possible; community activists and parents. If you haven't linked up with students, contact a local church group, campus ministry group, or high school youth group. The group may not want to officially sponsor it themselves, so ask them if they know individual students who are interested in this subject. Also, contact a local Exodus ministry ( if one exists) and see if anyone is interested in joining you.
  2. Make sure everyone is motivated to make a positive difference. This should not become a forum for insulting messages like "God Hates Fags" or similar name-calling. Remember-any of the activist kids involved in the Day of Silence may one day (hopefully) become an ex-homosexual. Maybe the truth of your message will do it!
  3. Book a place for the event on April 10. Somewhere near the venue of the "Day of Silence" demonstrations would be ideal. Have a table where material can be distributed in a high-traffic area like a cafeteria, student union, or other central campus area. Hold the press conference in the same area if possible. If you need to get permission of school officials or even police, do it as soon as possible.
  4. Gather the materials you will need and order/copy if needed. You will want to consult the Resources list on our web site, www.truthatschool.org. We also have T-shirts available for participants to wear.( See below.) You may want to order brochures and make copies from web sites about common questions about health risks, the "gene" question, coming out of homosexuality, etc.
  5. Get ready to invite the media. Get names and addresses of the media you want. Include a campus newspaper, local daily newspapers, weekly or community newspapers, radio (especially conservative talk show hosts and Christian radio) and TV stations, if you have someone who can answer questions well on camera. Let a student be the spokesman. Also, contact the local Associated Press office-number in the phone book.
  6. Prepare the news release by re-typing it and filing in the names as appropriate. Make any other changes needed. Keep language polite, even if you are impassioned.
  7. Make signs and visuals needed for photos and TV. Sign suggestions: "Truth About Homosexuality Here." "Homosexuality is Risky-We Have to Speak Out!" "Think Outside the Triangle." (This refers to the upside-down pink triangle used by homosexual activists as a symbol of their agenda.). And, "Truth About Homosexuality..Without Interruption).
  8. The day before the event, notify the media. Send the news release/event announcement by FAX the day before. Make follow up phone calls the morning of the event.
  9. Assign someone in your group the task of taking photos, even video of your group members answering questions, addressing the press, etc. The day after, these can be sent to community weekly papers with a caption, or to Christian media like Focus on the Family, CWA's Family Voice magazine, the American Family Association Journal, and Mission:America's "Choice4 Truth" newsletter. Also, video can be very helpful in documenting the event for other state and national pro-family groups.
  10. Send a report on your event to missiona@ee.net. We want to publish the results in "Choice 4 Truth" newsletter.
  11. T-shirts-Good for witnessing and as conversation starters for your group members to wear. Mission America has produced two different T-shirts. Each can be ordered for $5 each SPECIAL for the TWID event. Call us at (614) 442-7998.
    1. Black with blue lettering, the front says, "Sometime you gotta make a choice." Back says, "And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." John 8:32__www.Choice4Truth.com (This is our youth web site)
    2. White with black and pink. Front says THINK. Back says, "Think _Outside the triangle." [Graphic shows a person sort of trapped inside a bright pink triangle .] The message here is basically, don't buy what the 'gay' agenda wants us to believe, but think bigger than that, to all the possibilities that God has for us, if we learn the truth.

(Sample News Release)

Truth Without Interruption Day-April 10        Contact: (local name & phone #)
To be held in Response to "Day of Silence"            (Date)

(Your city) - On April 10, a group of (name of school) students and members of the community will tell the "Truth Without Interruption" about homosexuality, bisexuality and transgendered behavior. A press conference will be held at (time and location).

Truth Without Interruption Day is being observed in communities throughout America as a thoughtful response to the 'gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered' activists' designated "Day of Silence." "The purpose is to provide complete information about the issue of homosexuality, unhampered by the usual objections from 'GLBT' supporters, " said (name of local coordinator).

"We welcome an opportunity to discuss the risks of this behavior with fellow students and others," said (name of student spokesman). "Since the advocates of homosexuality have pledged to remain silent, this allows time, finally, for thoughtful discussion of this issue with those who are open-minded and willing to listen, and with those who have been intimidated into remaining silent."

Since homosexuality and bisexuality have no proven genetic origin, as many ex-homosexuals can verify, people have a clear choice about whether to be involved in this lifestyle, Truth supporters will explain. There are substantial dangers associated with practices common to homosexuality, such as anal intercourse. These risks include injury and elevated incidence of sexually transmitted diseases like AIDS and others.

"People need to know they have a choice," (student spokesman's name) said. "If you listen only to homosexual activists, you would believe they are born this way, that there are no options, and that they are somehow different humans.

"They aren't. They're just like any other humans, and deserve to be provided with the opportunity to be the natural men or women they are designed to be."

"Day of Silence' web site materials claim the day seeks to 'overcome homophobia.' This accusation is wearing thin with the majority of Americans, tired of being falsely accused of generating violence or of 'hate' when they simply don't like the behavior of homosexuality or cross-dressing. Americans should be able to object to behaviors that lead to AIDS without name-calling and insults. On April 10, the usual slurs most likely will remain unspoken.

Truth Without Interruption Day supporters hope that even the activists will listen to them on April 10."We know they may call this information 'hate,'" said (student spokesman). "But it becomes pretty evident, when there is finally get a chance to explain it, that these objections are based on the opposite-concern about fellow human beings. Homosexual behavior brings a high risk for contracting incurable diseases and living a shorter life."

I'd recommend that when a student is handed one of the "Day of Silence" flyers or note cards, they respond with a note card of their own - perhaps like this (or something similar):

THINK...Outside the Triangle!

And kids can order "THINK...Outside the Triangle!" t-shirts.

Please pass this information on to kids and their parents.

"GLSEN in well known for organizing "Gay/Straight Alliances" (GSAs)..."

And in some states, the creation, organizing, and support of GSA's is paid for by taxpayer funded grants - see:

These counselors will then often refer the students to outside homosexual organizations and 'gay' clubs - without parental knowledge or consent.

In some programs, the familiar acronym GLBT (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender) has the letter "Q" added to it, for "Questioning," as in "I am questioning whether I am straight or gay." An example of what this means is here.

How often do you think the answer to the question "Am I Gay?" is "Definitely not!"?

And sometimes it's called "Undecided and Searching":

"Undecided and Searching"? Incredible. What is it that these teens are supposed to be "searching" for? And how will they know when they have "found" it? After they have tried everything?

It never ceases to amaze me.

We don't know that anyone [as young as twelve] was in the workshop, nor does it matter.

I don't have time to wade through all your half-truths about Fistgate, but I will address this one. Why doesn't it matter? Do you think that it "doesn't matter" that children are being instructed about such things without specific parental notification?

"They had parental permission to attend the conference, the workshop was intended for those 14yo and older..."

That's very misleading, madg. While parents may have signed general permission slips for their children to attend a "Safe Schools" conference, you stated that, based on your experience of attending a GLSEN conference, that GLSEN did no check-in for specific workshops.

Posted in the thread Parent Alleges Harassment for Exposing 'Fistgate' :

To: madg

"All of the workshops that I attended at the 2002 GLSEN conference did no kind of “check-in” whatsoever. None of the presenters knew my name or, presumably, anyone else’s name."

If there was no "check-in," then there was no pre-registration for any of the individual workshops. So any 12, 13, or 14 year old could walk in to a workshop where explicit homosexual sex acts are being discussed.

Some parents, believeing this was a "safe-schools" conference, may have given permission for their children to attend the conference in general. It's unlikely they knew that this sexually explicit workshop would be included. Of course, since no registration or parental permission was required for individual workshops, a kid could always tell his parents, "oh no, I didn't attend THAT workshop!"
