NBC Nightly News did a kicker segment last night on so-called Human Shields - and COMPLETELY IGNORED the fact that a good percentage of the fools are heading home again after figgering out that being a human shield = danger. It looked to me like a piece that was produced a week or so ago that they ran for (1) lack of anything else, and (2) before it became widely known that the human shields had flown the coup. Plus, they had some time invested in it and didn't want that time to go to waste (and the reporter probably wanted his piece aired).

I'm afraid all Sen. Graham can do is talk; there is no legal ground to prosecute these people under treason because legally, we are not at war. John Walker Lindh was convicted of possessing weapons that were used against U.S.-Nothern Alliance soldiers, not treason. There will be no punishment for the human shields other than social.

They should definitely be considered traitors. The news report I heard on Fox, I believe, said they left because they weren't allowed to be human shields at the hospitals, etc. where they wanted to go, but Saddam wanted to send them to plants where they were building missles, etc. and they feared for their safety.. ROFL!!!!!!
