Cool pic! I loved that movie "Last Man Standing".

I especially loved the hat he wore. A classic brown, beaver felt center dent, high crown fedora with a wide band and a 3" brim. Very cool. I wish I had one to add to my collection.

If that was sarcasm, then shame on you.

The comedic brilliance of the Aiello and Willis duo has yet to be topped!

And has anyone else on the forum heard that BW bought up 11,000 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies from his daughter and sent them to the troops in the Gulf?

I believe it was 12,000 boxes and he sent them to the boys in Afghanistan and they were divided among Army and Air Force personnel as well as Navy sailors and Marines aboard the USS Wasp, an amphibious assault vessel, and the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy.

Yojimbo, one of the greatest movies of all times.

I liked "Sanjuro", the first sequel, much more.

Sanjuro!

And a bump for all those great Bruce Willis movies!

Re Unbreakable...if he was unbreakable, how was he injured in a car crash such that his football career ended? That would just about ruin the whole premise...

It would if everything were as it appeared to be...

But as in all of Shamalyan's films, first impressions aren't necessarily what they seem.

No sarcasm whatsoever, I went to see Hawk at the movies and laughed so hard I burned the inside of my nose when i spurggled Pepsi laughing so hard. I bought the DVD and watch it alot.

I also love "The 5th Element" and "The Last Boy scout" Willis blows me away with his delivery!

I was kidding. Hudson Hawk overall is an awful, awful film though I enjoyed Bruce and Danny Aiello in it.

You should check out "Last Man Standing" (pics here on this thread)...he gets off so many great lines in that.

"Multi-card!"

LOL

Mila Jovovich, what a righteous babe. You can't say that Willis doesn't attract the most stunning co-stars.

No it wasn't awful it was just for a certain audience... the same type people liked "Ishtar." You have to have a certain mindset to appreciate these movies.

Now you want a bad movie to watch "Dr. T and the Women" now that is trash!

Anyone else hear about Willis also buying 12,000 boxes of girl scout cookies from his daughter? He made the purchase and sent the cookies to our guys on the aircraft carriers in the gulf...I think his little girl may have been the best seller in the troop this year ;)

Let's put it this way...Sandra Burnhart.

Ugghh don't remind me. The tortures one must endure when dating.

"Nobody like you. Everybody hates you. You're gonna lose....smile you @#^#!" - Joe Hollenbeck, Last Boy Scout.

...I can't believe it took until post #81 for someone to mention "The Last Boy Scout".

Or maybe I can -- it's definitely one of the least-known good action films.

Willis plays Joe Hallenbeck, a down-and-out P.I. whose marriage is failing, and whose 13-year-old daughter hates him. Part of his problem is that he's about the only person in town who has any sense of honor left, but that and two bucks will get him a cup of coffee. So he's resigned to being a cynical loser who deserves better.

The film is full of great scenes and lines, but be warned that if you bleeped the profanities there'd be little dialog left.

Jimmy Dix: You're nobody!
Joe Hallenbeck: Shhh, don't tell anyone.

Jimmy Dix: I figure you gotta be the dumbest guy in the world, Joe. You're trying the save the life of the man who ruined your career, and avenge the death of the guy that f***ed your wife.

Thug: The envelope, very smart. See Jake, here is a man who knows when a situation is untenable.
Joe Hallenbeck: Good word.
Thug: You like that word? And you do have that envelope, don't you?
Joe Hallenbeck: Better give up, Jimmy. We're dealin' with a couple of geniuses here.
Jimmy Dix: Hey man, just leave him the f*** alone!
Thug: Leave him alone? We do whatever you say. Jake here takes his job with a certain exuberance.
Jimmy Dix: S**t, we're being beat up by the inventor of Scrabble!

Jimmy Dix [talking to himself]: Okay, what would Joe do at a time like this? He'd kill everybody and smoke some cigarettes.

Joe Hallenbeck: This is the nineties. You don't just go around punching people. You have to say something cool first.

Jimmy Dix: You're a real bastard, ya know that, Joe?
Joe Hallenbeck: And then some.

"Let's put it this way...Sandra Burnhart."

YEs she was definitely the low point of that movie and I have yet to see her in something and think she was good.

But to put in context how bad "Dr. T and the Women" is if one were to reshoot the film and add a nude scene with Ms. Burnhart and Rosie O'Donell it could only improve the film.
