Yes, that is why it strikes me this is either an imbalanced person or someone making homemade fireworks.

Well they didn't identify the perp, but at least this is a solid news story.

After 2 days of "Osama is caught/almost caught", it's nice to read something that isn't simply rumor, hearsay or wishful thinking.

I look forward with interest to reading further details about this case.

Oh, I'm sure the media knows who he is, too, but until they have confirmation from the police, I doubt if any of the stations or newspapers here are going to name him.

I checked with the Milwaukee TV stations and they don't have anything new. They'll probably update later today.

The stories don't say if he's under arrest. If he's under arrest, they'd have to name him--and they'd also have to pay for his hospitalization because he'd be considered in custody.

Yeah, price tags! Most weird. Perhaps a little side business, huh?

I can't wait for the update. I don't know if the Green Bay stations will cover it (Hartford is too far south), but there should be something up on the Journal's website either later today to tomorrow. I'm amazed the guy lived through the blast.

But I *really* want to know why the bombs had price tags on them. I can see them laid out at the Seven Mile Fair....

What would your problem be with that?

It is a live explosive. Children like to go to remote area's of city parks just because "they are there."

A child could blow himself up. It seems to me that this device should have been given to the ATF.

"The exploding kind."

Well, I'm sure they didn't leave a LIVE explosive anywhere. They took it there to detonate it. Once detonated, I would assume they would collect any pieces as evidence and clear the area. What possible harm would there be in that?

If this is not a homegrown nutjob, it may be possible that they may not be releasing his name, as it may tip off any of his buddies that may be elsewhere in this country or off shore......There may be info in the residence that will lead investigators to his buddies.....So this may be the reason they may be tight mouthed about his ID....

Just speculation.......A wild guess.

Anything is possible, but this is a suburban-rural-farming area and any terrorists living there would stick out like a sore thumb.

"This is some pretty volatile stuff," Jones said. "The ATF has the facilities to store it safely."

The nearest Federal Building?

He better unload them fast. Once word gets out about his accident, he might not have many buyers..

This guy is an idiot and right now everyone knows it and he, best of all, he knows it.
