I'll be impressed when the pro-Saddamites can get more than 1% of the US population to their rallies.

Thanks for the ping.

AP contacted me Thursday and I connected the repoter with one of our better spokespersons, Dix. Thanks Dix!

*PING!*

As always, a FReep mail will get you on or off this Houston topics ping list.

Good let them block roads and when we liberate Iraq from Sadamn and Ciraq then the RATS will look even more foolish. This will end support of tyranny for a generation.

Actually, it's not a link (I did that; the AP never actually provides the links), but they did provide the address, so at least it's there.

Dix, notice that you are in good company. You and President Bush are the only intelligent persons quoted.

Actually you're right; on the AP site, and on Lycos, at least, there are links. (I was thinking of the New York Times' site, which doesn't link the Web addresses on AP stories.) My fault.

That's what happens when you (i.e., yours truly) think you know everything and you (i.e., yours truly again) know nothing, you just post away. Such is the fun of the Web.

Anti-war American doctors have gone to Iraq to evaluate the dangers that war poses for civilians there...no wonder health care costs are skyrocketing, malpractice, delivery of very expensive transplants and surgeries to illegals, and golf trips to the desert.

Once spearheaded largely by leftist students, hippies and draft-card burners, the peace movement is now taking on more support from the mainstream: labor unions, war veterans, middle-aged professionals, and teenagers born years after the last draft.

Uh-huh. So "labor union members, war veterans, middle-aged professionals and teenagers" can't be Leftists, is that what this is saying?

I'm sorry, but I don't know a SINGLE PERSON who is against this conflict, who is not a serious Leftist, no matter their everyday identity.

To me this is akin to the attempt by the media a few years ago to make us believe that AIDS was "about to explode" among heterosexuals. The Big Lie at work.
