South Carolinians Supporting Our Troops held a "Rally For America" on Saturday, March 8 at the State House in Columbia, SC.
The rally was sparked by Columbian Carla Hardee whose 23 year old son is awaiting orders to go to Kuwait.
Among those attending were John Fling, David Spence (son of the late Congressman Floyd Spence), and Congressman Joe Wilson.

Great pics, DrNo!
Remember the last WHite House FReep before W's Inauguration? It looks like the weather was a little better for your rally on Saturday. :-)

Gail, I wasn't there since I am in GA.
DrNo, do you have numbers? We guessed wrong at Milledgeville, here in GA. Dansangel, .45Man and I guessed 300 there, but the news report said 150.

Numbers were quite modest (50-75?). It was truly grassroots with little or no publicity, and there was another rally scheduled for Sunday afternon. According to the Columbia paper, the Sunday rally drew about 200.

I got a call from my 70 year old mom last night. Bless her heart, she went. I'm proud of her!
