What the hell kind of investigation is going to take place? They stood right there and watch the perpetrators commit vandalism and did nothing. If anybody should be investigated, it's the police who watched the whole thing take place and ignored it.

Yes...it is apparently legal to destroy the property that is not your own when you disagree with the beliefs expressed. Kristell-nacht is hyperbole as is calling someone a nazi.

But with newspapers and yards signs stolen and now this...one has to ask who exactly the left is calling fascist. Who is "crushing dissent"? Unless you derive that it is acceptable to use these tactics because the opinion held happens to be the majority, how can somone who cherishes free speech even mutely condone this?

They said the owners of the property that was being torn apart, would have to complain, before they acted. Could you imagine police watching robbers holding up a bank, and then saying they can't act unless the bank presses their alarm, to alert the police of their distress?
