Hi All! Report from the Rally: Glenn Beck said from the stage that we had 25,000 people in Centennial Olympic Park for the Rally! It was incredible! The signs were fantastic - lots of anti-French signs: "First Iraq, then France", "Screw Jacques Chiraq" and others! I have tons of pics to post if I can figure out how to get them up! GOOD JOB GEORGIA!

Good job guys. Sorry I couldn't be there I had family obligations. But, hey I won the cooking contest at the annual St. Patty's gathering with my Irish Tamales.

Had a great time there with the Mrs. and the kids. It was nice to see some of the 249 million Americans who aren't protesting the war (and therefore aren't on CNN). CNN is right now talking about the rally.

BUMP!! Some of our viewers of the DC Chapter live thread have snatched photos of the Atlanta rally and posted them on this other thread, feel free to steal 'em: I provide you with a link to this other thread that plops you in the middle of an excerpt from a CNN website news story that gives our Free Republic rallies a *nationwide* description and gives it almost equal play with ANSWER. A rather historic turn of events, if you ask me:

You guys have been all over CNN today, trust me.

Whoaa, check out this CNN coverage, it almost gives Free Republic equal time!
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Antiwar demonstrators gathered Saturday at the Washington Monument for a convergence on the White House as supporters of President Bush's Iraq policy planned a counter demonstration nearby.
Organizers at International ANSWER, a coalition of groups that have banded together to oppose a war, said they were expecting tens of thousands of people from more than 100 U.S. cities.
ANSWER also planned rallies in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Another group, Free Republic, plans to hold what it calls a patriotic rally to support U.S. troops Saturday afternoon on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington.
Thousands of people gathered in Atlanta, Georgia, waving American flags and shouting slogans and similar rallies are planned in other cities, including San Francisco, California, and Seattle, Washington.
**snip** Way to go Atlanta and San Fran!

Absolutely AWESOME rally today with a much higher turnout than I expected considering the weather.
I took around 100 pics, but I must attend a little league game at 6 p.m., so I won't be able to post them untill later.
It was great to meet y'all today.

Look don't flame me but actually CNN has been quite generous with you guys today! I've been home with a cold handling the DC live thread and monitoring national news coverage and CNN gave lots of time to Atlanta! Good work!!!

CNN had to cover it. Their corporate headquarters overlooks the rally site.

This one was great - you can't see the whole thing, but it said "Iraq First, Then France"

CNN headquarters is at one end of the park where the rally was held. They could have pointed cameras out the window and had live coverage.
