NORTH ARABIAN GULF, April 10 -- Seaman Apprentice Brett O. Davidson of Orlando Fl., works onboard the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Adak in the North Arabian Gulf off the coast of Iraq. Lining up for loading. Assisted by numerous ground guides, tank drivers position their Abrams main battle tanks in line to be loaded onto a train for transport to the CENTCOM area of operations. 1st Armored Division will have 3,000 of its vehicles and aircraft moving to ports this week.

1st Armored Division is deploying from multiple locations throughout Germany. Soldiers have worked around the clock for the last several weeks to ensure their equipment is mission ready. The movement began in early April and will continue through early May.
