BoycottHollywood.com -- Still Up For Now!!! (Anti-Free Speech Hollyweird Bootlickers Alert!)
May 2, 2003 | Carthago delenda est

Posted on 05/02/2003 6:16:42 PM PDT by Carthago delenda est

Ladies and gentlemen of FreeRepublic.com:

As you may know, and as was reported on both the BoycottHollywood website and Emperor Misha's blog (scroll down), the lowlife, scum-sucking, bloviating, self-absorbed mollycoddles who dare to lecture the rest of us about "free speech" while joyously licking dog feces off Joe Stalin's shoes had gained a temporary victory in having their "talent" agent, the William Morris Agency (Rick Hersh/Rick Bradley - 310.274.7451), pressure the Dotster.com people to take Boycott Hollywood off the web.

The website is still running.

Dotster's official cover-our-rear-ends excuse was to say that the site had not provided accurate contact information. BoycottHollywood responded that this was because those running the site have received numerous death threats, and they did not want this information to be passed to just anybody.

The owner of the site was briefly unable to update her site or access her Email, but this is no longer the case. As of 8pm last night, she was able to do both things, and now the DNS appears to be back to normal. Here's what she says:

"Contact from Dotster with an explanation of what the hell is going on would be a nice thing. But, no word as of yet. I'm not sure what this means - - if the site stays up? Or if it's still scheduled to be taken down? I wish I knew - - however, for now, it seems, we are still here so I just wanted to fire off a note of thank you to everyone who has been supporting this site over this whole William Morris fiasco (oh, I haven't heard from them either).

So, I guess we're hanging in there -- I'm tentatively optimistic about it, but reasonably cynical, as well. :) Good day!"

This website ain't goin' down without a fight, folks! Does anybody have information on how to get in touch with Dotster.com? I've been having trouble doing so. Even though it might be difficult to contact them, it may still be worthwhile to send them an Email or call them up with your thoughts. This may be just what the doctor ordered for keeping BoycottHollywood online. God knows that companies hate to tee off potential customers.

I just want to urge my fellow Freepers to let those involved know your thoughts, and to support BoycottHollywood. Why?

Because Hollyweird must be stopped! Let's put a smackdown on the pukes -- let's give a wedgie to the whiners. Let's play brick dodgeball with those pinksqueak treasonous denizens of Cockroach Central Emporium who hum the Horst Wessel Lied when they're not complaining about their free speech being "violated." Let's break their bones with sticks and stones, and smash the teacups out of their hands as they raise their pinky fingers in an effete salute to Flyover Country. We will burn their seas, ravage their coasts, destroy their livelihoods, and send swarms of splenetic citizens to verbally harass them and eat out their substance! To the barricades, Freepers! To the line! THIS IS WAR! ARE YOU WITH ME???

I think the ACLU should stand up for the web-site's freedom of speech and file a suit against Phillip Morris.

Hehe...... that would be a treat. The ACLU on our side?? *L*

Yes - and I was boycotting Hollow wood long ago - I haven't had a TV in years and only watch movies with Mel Gibson or the Lord of the Rings. There's so much else to do in life other than sit and absorb crap into my mind through my eyes and ears!

(There are actually many reasons to boycotting Hoolyweird - the treason stuff is the icing on the cake!)

If its a DNS company then it might take up to a week for that DNS entry to be taken down across the globe as other DNS update their DBs. But i might be wrong. But I hope those losers fail and Freedom trumps.

Phillip Morris has all the law suits it can handle.

The IP addresses of the primary nameserver and any secondary nameservers for the domain name; The corresponding names of those nameservers;

The name, postal address, e-mail address, voice telephone number, and where available, fax number of the technical contact for the domain name;

The name, postal address, e-mail address, voice telephone number, and where available, fax number of the zone contact for the domain name;

You further agree that your failure to respond for over fifteen (15) calendar days to inquiries by Dotster, Inc., concerning the accuracy of contact details associated with your registration shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement and will be sufficient basis for cancellation of your domain name registration.

Here is a link to whois boycott-hollywood.us

They listed their ownership as -

Registrant Organization: Boycott Hollywood
Registrant Address1: 1234 Blah St
Registrant City: NoWhere
Registrant State/Province: WI
Registrant Postal Code: 53217

Perhaps the owners of boycott-hollywood.us should have read the registration agreement before they made the agreement with dotster.com? There is no question they are in breach of contract.

Considering the lengths to which these hollywood freaks are willing to go to attack anyone who challenges them, it is only prudent to withhold such information. Dotster has no problem accepting false whois registrations, it likes them because it means more business.

I get your point, but it seems pretty clear that Dotster isn't doing this for that reason, if indeed they go ahead and do it. Of course, they have every right to take down the site, but those of us who are unhappy with this decision have a right to protest this action.

By the way, I just checked out your profile. Kudos on all your prescient and interesting articles, particularly the one publishing the Juanita Broaddrick information! I had heard from an uncle before the impeachment (how he found this out I'll never know) that charges had been made accusing Clinton of rape, but that it was all being hushed up. I assumed that my uncle was probably full of it, but a few months later, the Broaddrick story was out for all to see (partly due to your efforts, it would seem -- I'm surprised that Drudge wouldn't publish your article).

A history professor of mine at college knows a conservative who married a liberal New York Jew (she told him he was the first Republican she had ever known) who gradually changed her political beliefs. She did some work for Judicial Watch and tried to track down women who had putatively been raped by Clinton, but they were all too reluctant and/or scared to speak with her.

Keep up the good work, because even the liberals cannot keep the truth about Clinton bottled up forever. Someday, somehow, all will out, because "The truth is great and shall prevail/When none cares whether it prevail or not."

See the links to ICANN here:

http://lonewacko.com/blog/archives/000489.html

As I read it, ICANN recommends that companies like Dotster give their customers 15 days (or more) in which to correct inaccurate WHOIS info.

That doesn't mean that BH is not in violation of their contract. And, I also don't usually believe everything someone tells me, so BH might have been contacted by WMA, contrary to what they say.

However, whatever the other circumstances, WMA, in my opinion, appears to have attempted to "SLAPP" BH down, and should be condemned. And, Dotster/NamesBargain should also be condemned for what appears to me to be caving in.

(SLAPP: "A Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation, in which a corporation or developer sues an organization in an attempt to scare it into dropping protests against a corporate initiative." http://www.nolo.com/lawcenter/dictionary/dictionary_listing.cfm/Term/1264241E-6BCC-41DE-88FB065B11543680/alpha/S)

the reason you couldn't get anywhere is because the site is boycott-hollywood.com, not boycotthollywood.com. Try again.

Check Out BushCountry.org tomorrow. They will have a FULL EXPOSE on what is going on, and have contact information via emails and phone numbers. They just sent a newsletter out to their subscribers telling them to tell all their friends about the article that is coming out. They said they will not stop until this injustice is on every Media outlet in America. One thing is for sure, if this info makes big media, the pocketbooks of Hollywood will be much thinner!

Don't think it is. Look at other responses to my post for the correct address.
