Please don't ping her again. I remember her trolling another Fiori thread and she joined another gal in referring to Freeper men as homosexuals, just because they agreed with Fiori.

Yet she refers to Fiori as a b*tch. Amazing.

Another thing that these men are probably well attunded to is the tension that exists in step relations.

You have the ex-husband turning the kids against you, and the kids themselves know how to play you into buying their affection. Cross them and you'll hear, "You're not my real daddy!"

It's as unnerving as the mother's repeated failure to discipline their kids out of some misplaced sense of guilt.

Post-sexual revolution America is quite an irredeemable mess. God help us.

I don't like the tone of this woman's essay, although I can agree with some of her points.

I'm a Christian who believes that in Christ we live through the indwelling Spirit, not the body we were born with. We are all fully reconciled to God, by God when we enter the Body of Christ. There is no condemnation or discrimination among the children of God who live through the Spirit of God due to His Son's covering.

It's interesting how many of the corporate spinsters still insist on "marrying up". They can be very feminist, very into equality but still believe only men making more money than they are worth their time.

Here in lies the irony. Once you reach the top, it is kind of hard to find someone above you. LOL!

not the body we were born with.>>>

If you read the beginnings of Genesis there were lots of arguments between the angels and God because of this: by putting in souls into human flesh.

I was thinking of Paul's description of God's reconciliation of us to him as described in Romans 5 and Colossians 1

Okay, I must be missing something here. How is it that so many of the women in the church today (as well described by Ms. Fiori, who couldn't have made her specific points clearer) who after years of attempting to tame the bad boys now finally come to church with kids in tow after several divorces who are now finally looking for a (nominally) Christian man--but praying he shows up packaged as George Cloony--just how are they exhibiting Godly preferences?

God doesn't condemn this? That's news to me. It must be nice to be a wymyn and re-write the scriptures to your preference.

Interesting article. I thought it was written by a man until I started seeing the replies.

Women that wait until 35-40 years old to find a mate and have children have waited too long. Of course there are "no good men left." They've already been taken. And for those that are left, they are looking for women who are much younger.

My wife and I are entering our early 40s and our kids are just about grown up. I am very happy that we made the decision to get married and have kids relatively early in life. We are still young enough to accelerate our careers and to spend a lot of time traveling together or just going out to eat together (and now we have the money to do it). I know people who are having kids in their mid-to-late 30s for the first time. They are going to be almost 60 when the kids are grown up. I don't envy them in the least bit. I think raising kids is a job best suited for younger people, but that's just my opinion.

There are a lot of people who seeingly "have it all" that are truly miserable and unhappy people. Having a big house, a large stock portfolio and a couple of SUV's in the driveway is not the key to happiness. Some of the happiest people I know live relatively simple lives. They might live in a small ranch, drive around used cars and live pretty much paycheck to paycheck. But they are happy and because they don't always have their noses to the grindstone working 90-hour+ weeks, they have lots of time to spend with their families. These are the families you see on camping trips on weekends and hanging out on the front porch on hot summer nights, sipping iced tea and watching the fireflies. Not a bad life.

If God condemns such behavior, He would condemn the same in a man.
Every single word I wrote is straight from Romans 5 and Colossians 1.
Men or women who do as you describe are not living through the Spirit of God through Christ.

I have 2 daughters who are a result of feminazi mother. It seems that I can never h the girls who are aparently listening to their mother. I really doubt they will ever marry because of this. I understand why young men never stay around very long. SAD SAD
