Of course we are, Howlin. I was simply pointing out that I am willing to wait until the trial before I proclaim certain things to be proven facts. Perhaps you and I differ on the meaning of the word "speculation."

Once Laci died and Scott was still alive, the house became soley Scott's - even before any official transfer of title. Most people never transfer the title to the surviving spouse unless a new marriage to include new spouse. When you sell a house with a dead spouse's name on title, you still don't need to transfer title to survivor in order to sell. Secondly, Sharon did comit a crime by entering that house without permission. Just because the police refuse to arrest her and the other guilty parties, does not make it less of a crime. In order for the house to not belong to Scott (even if convicted of murder), someone would have to sue him for it. Murdering your spouse does not mean you automatically lose your property. Lastly, I think this stunt by Sharon was very stupid and could later be used by the defense to help Scott.

Petersons have been in the media in one form or another since day one..whether it be on the courthouse steps, in front of their home in San Diego (by the way, in that appearance Jackie did not have her oxygen on and only asked to go inside for it when she felt the interview wasn't going her way) and almost nightly phone ins by Jackie to Dan Abrams and by Lee and Janey to LKL.
Rochas have been interviewed 2 maybe 3 times if I remember correctly, always being very careful not to say anything to compromise the case and NEVER a cross word towards Petersons. IMO Geragos is making media appearances...thru the Petersons. His client is facing the death penalty, why on earth is he letting the Petersons say anything publicly?
It's all a part of his spin....

And if he is convicted he will not be an heir AT ALL. Laci's family will inherit EVERYTHING. That was stated on TV by a Lawyer last night. He and his family have no right to be selling ANYTHING.

No death Certificate has been issued yet, and until the trial is over, that house is Scott's, but if he is convicted of killing his wife, it will be turned over to Laci's heirs.
Until all this is resolved, that certainly doesent mean the Petersons have any right to claim anything in that home. No one does.

Wow, that is a startling piece of evidence. What makes you think that he won't be on the Courthouse steps talking after EVERY SINGLE court hearing? I'm not going to quibble with you about numbers. All I know is that Geragos is always described as a high profile, media savvy Lawyer. He has tried pretty much all his cases in the media concurrently with the Courtroom.

If Geragos and Petersons are coming across as vile and evil, it works agaist a fair trial for Scott. No matter what I think of the whole stinkin crew, a fair trial is what this country is all about, and my opinion won't matter there.
