In less than 2 days (July 9th) the people of Iran are planning massive demonstrations events and strikes.

On this date, 4 years ago, the regime brutally attacked peaceful student demonstrators while in their dorms. The result was the loss of life and liberty of hundreds of students, many of which are still unaccounted for.

Once again, the regime has been threatening a major crackdown on the protesters. A major confrontation is just days away.

Iran is a country ready for a regime change. If you follow this thread you will witness, I believe, the transformation of a country. This daily thread provides a central place where those interested in the events in Iran can find the best news and commentary.

Somehow, I suspect that jamming equipment is not something you throw together overnight.

If true, then the Iranian government had obtained jamming equipment for use in the US prior to the uprising. But for what purpose?

I have the feeling that any foreign government that has jamming equipment sitting around in the US, may have other sabatoge equipment and we need to get those guys quick and find out the extent of their plans.

An observation….

If you are one of those that searches for news as I do, it is be impossible for you to miss the story that is discussed worldwide about the Iranian conjoined twins undergoing a separation operation.

I just wanted to make the observation that the timing of this operation was obviously planned by the regime of Iran to distract world attention from the events in Iran. While the surgeons had donated their expertise and time, the Iranian government announced yesterday that it is paying the $300,000 bill for the operation. This is the same regime that has so ignored their own poor that people are selling their body parts (kidneys, eyes, etc.) to provide food for their families. While I hope the best for these women undergoing surgery, make no mistake about it. This is an Iranian propaganda ploy to distract us. The timing is all too obvious.

I must also point out the near absolute silence of the events in Iran. No one is covering this story in the manner it deserves. Not even the more conservative cable networks such as Fox News. It is unbelievable to me.

Please email the media and especially Fox News what you hear here. I can only hope they are all sitting on the story in anticipation of the July 9th events.

From broadcasts i've been hearing they're saying that Jack Straw cut a deal with the Mullahs to help jam the opposition satellite dishes in exchange for their support in Iraq and abandoning Nuclear Weapons.

If true, Straw and England, have once again spit in the face of the Iranian people and opted to support the IRI.

I hope these reports are just rumors.

I can't believe the silence either Doc, I don't really understand it. But then, even FOX has only been reporting the shootings in Iraq and nothing about the steps forward. I can't quite figure out what's going on.

Many people in Iran are getting ready and planning for tomorrow and we would like to know more about the activities inside the USA.
However, Many here still doubt about the joining protests tomorrow.
They say: we should wait untill the proper time.
Regarding the satellite receivers jamming in Tehran and Iran, Some people in Tehran can view The LA based TV stations in the mornings. That is all for now...

Many here believed that the regime prepared this situation to get the advantage of this news.
