First on FNC! I am a great an of FOX News, but David Virtue of Virtuosity had an email newsletter in my mailbox this morning when I came to work (Mountain Time).

"Robinson, a 56-year-old divorced father of two, has been attending the convention with his daughter and partner of 13 years, Mark Andrew." Good eye catching this muddled sentence!
(But considering the subject matter already on the table, what's a little incest?)

"Jesus Christ and St. Paul."
JC was God. Paul was appointed by God and himself wrote in first corinthians a person should marry if he has such desires.
Have you read Timothy?

The number of such items requested by Outright Vermont for distribution to teens was mind-boggling: 5,000 condoms, 750 dental dams, 750 latex gloves, and 2,000 packets of lubricant. Outright also spent monies on youth retreats, including the "recruitment of youth participants," which utilized mailing lists and youth-related meetings to stir interest in the gatherings. Kids who expressed an interest in attending were transported - again using state money - to the retreat site, where youth and adult staff again taught kids how to engage in homosexual sex practices. Outrights own quarterly report said, "All retreat participants practiced and were evaluated on their (prophylactic) barrier use skills and were given a variety of barriers to take home. Participants joined in role plays."..."
How much you wanna bet that Taxpayers have no clue this is going on ..

Sorry, must correct what I said.
My parents church drew up a COUNTER statement of beliefs to counter the PC statement of beliefs that the presbytery drew up.
They decided to stay and be athorn in PCUSA's side.
The Circleville church nearby backed out of the presbytery.

He was identified. But the case is complicated and I want to study it more. In addition to Brooks, others have come forward to charge this particular bishop with homosexual rape. Letters were sent to Rome.

That was my pathetic attempt at humor except for Souter's leanings. I watched Souter's hearings closely. His bacheklor status came up in news coverage at the time. Some unsubstantiated claim was made that he dated an attractive young lady at Oxford while he was involved there as a Rhodes Scholar. It was soon suggested that he knew not woman.
His sponsors and constant companions during the hearings were veteran New Hampshire State Senator Susan MacLane (RINO or worse-Concord) and her husband longtime Mayor Malcolm MacLane (RINO or worse-Concord). Either, much less both of those two would make Abbie Hoffman look like Jerry Falwell on social issues. Souter was a stealth candidate from the get go.
His Washington Senate sponsors were Warren Rudman who saw few Republican principles he would not violate during most of his career (be not fooled by the balanced budget baloney) and the elder John Sununu who is surely bright enough to know exactly what Souter is. Souter is a skilled enough phony to have been appointed (?) Attorney General under the sainted Governor Meldrim Thompson.
Sorry if I misled you. It was not intentional.

Try finding celibacy in the Bible? Try scanning Jesus' words regarding eunuchs made in Heaven. Or St. Paul's advice to abstain from marriage like himself, if possible.
To: ultima ratio
Wasn't Paul a leader in a Jewish sect that required men to be married?

JC was God.Correct. So imitating Christ is a bad idea for Christians?
Paul was appointed by God
Correct. So it would also be a bad idea to follow St. Paul?
and himself wrote in first corinthians a person should marry if he has such desires.
Correct. To paraphrase, he says the best thing to be is celibate BUT if you feel that celibacy will cause too many temptations, being married is better than going to hell, isn't it?
Have you read Timothy?
In the Greek. here's a question - does mias gunaikos andra mean having at least one wife or having at most one wife?
related question: was St. Paul unqualified for the episcopal ministry?

I'm not going to argue about what Timothy writes in original Greek. I read it the same as others on this read.
I'm also not going to debate the qualifications of Paul.
