Funny how Mormon historians try and say they Danites were not associated with the LDS church, and that caller "High Priest" John O'Fallon wished they could come and "visit" the radio host.

I see they had other interests as well.

When I heard that recording, the first thing that struck me as noteworthy was the caller claiming authority in the name of ‘the Melchizadek Priesthood’. ... If I'm going to rebuke satan or a ‘son of perdition’, it will be in the name of Jesus Christ for He alone has the authority. It's kind of like the Apostles who never rebuked in the name of the Apostles, it was always in the name of Jesus Christ. Maybe O’Fallon has a smidgen of hope since even he deep down recognized that he did not have authority in Jesus’s name so he tried the fantasy priesthood.

UNLESS...he believes his "Melchizadek priesthood". qualifies him as EQUAL to Jesus Christ. Remember, Joseph Smith claims he will be a "judge of this dispensation" of allowing entrance to anyone seeking to enter the "kingdom" where God and Christ reside.

I prefer to hold out hope for O’Fallon. Like Sean (God saved him from Mormonism, remember), there can be a niche God's still small voice will widen, if the heart is not completely closed in arrogant pride. I suspect even O’Fallon has a small crease still open or he would have invoked Jesus name to rebuke Sean. He is still tied in 'nots' with Mormonism, so he thinks the priesthood is sufficient ... it's a pride thingy Satan exploits to murder those overwhelmed in Mormonism.
