Because of what we have learnt we have had to make some difficult decisions and cut ourselves off from fellowship with people we have come to be very fond of.
Jesus tells us many times not to be deceived. (Mat 24:4-5, 11. Eph 5:6-11. 2 Thess 2:13)
He said, ‘Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name saying, ‘I am Christ’, and shall deceive many’. Mat 24:4-5
Who do you think are the ‘deceived’? Jesus tells us that ‘many will be deceived’. Who are the ‘many’?
NOTE also in the above verse that the deceivers are not denying Jesus, they are saying that Jesus is Christ.
Jesus also said, ‘Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord,Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven………Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophecied in thy name? and in thy name cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you, depart from me, ye that work iniquity.’ Mat 7:21-23
Who do you think Jesus is talking about here?
Think about it!
He is not talking about unbelievers He is talking about church folk, Christians who practise prophecy, cast out demons and do miracles in Jesus name.
What group of Christians do these things and teach these things? It can’t be ‘high’ church or denominations that believe the gifts of the Spirit have ceased because they don’t prophecy or cast out demons etc.
I believe the Lord has shown me it is those individuals who are involved/engaged in what is called the Charasmatic Renewal Movement, eg Toronto, Brownsville, Vineyard, Alpha course, New Wine, Clan etc and I speak from experience because I was involved in this stuff myself till the Lord told me to ‘come out of her’.
Why does Jesus say to these well intentioned people, ‘I never knew you, depart from me, ye that work iniquity’?
I believe it is because they have allowed themselves to be deceived, to follow deceiving spirits, to unwittingly follow Satan who don’t forget appears as an angel of light.
The APOSTATE church is here NOW! Just take a look at the Christian TV channels. The vast majority are riddled with compromise, false teaching and ‘doctrines of demons’ and millions have fallen for it. ‘
REVIVAL
Let no man deceive you by any means; for that day shall not come except there come a falling away.’ 2 Thess 2:3

Contrary to popular belief, the Bible does NOT teach that there will be a massive END TIMES REVIVAL!
Rather Jesus said, ‘When the Son of Man cometh , shall he find faith on the earth?’ Luke 18:8
He also said, ‘wide is the gate and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat, and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.’ Mat 7:13-14
There has been a ‘falling away’, the ‘love of many has waxed cold’, millions have been and are being deceived.

Another word for iniquity is "lawlessness". Those who are deceived will practice lawlessness, a disregard of the commandments of the Lord, a breaking of his holy law.
Exactly...If people do not want to hear the true Gospel of Jesus Christ then they would deny him being the Christ..(The true church) for the end time church the Apostate Church... would be saying *I am the Christ*..
I don’t think anyone would think that scripture in Mark it is talking about a person as in a Cult (Jim Jones, David Koresch, that Miami 666 guy) as being the Christ.

Exactly right - God will hold hold those responsible who voted to continue the legalized murder of the unborn.
I will pray for Obama that he truly gives his heart and life to Jesus Christ, receives Jesus as his Savior and Lord, and changes his mind on abortion.

I just thought the Antichrist had to be of Jewish Ancestry and would be coming out of Europe.
All the churches have become apostate, the man of sin has taken his seat “in the temple”. “Come out of her (my) people, that ye be not partakers of her sins and that ye receive not of her plagues”. “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God”. All of the churches have become “MYSTERY BABYLON” as Revelation declares- read your Bible before you start pointing fingers at others.

Thanks Bosco. I appreciate your concern, but I really wasn’t asking a question that I am looking for an answer to. I will try to find some time to listen, but if it is trying to explain rapture to me, then it’s a lost cause. If a rapture happens, then good, but if it doesn’t I hope that those who believe in it will not forsake God.

I believe the Lakeland Revival was the start of the End Time Delusion.
Delusion is judgment.
Judgment comes upon the church first.
Now it is time for the world’s judgment of delusion; Obama.
I suppose, but I take it literally, as in people claiming to be Christ. It could be people calling themselves Jesus or Christ or Messiah (notice how Obama has not told people NOT to call him Messiah). Or it could be people who believe they are gods, or that they have Christ-consiousness, like new-agers or new spirituality followers. That’s just my take on it.
I think the “deceived” are perhaps both non-believers and Christians. The emerging church and contemplative spirituality are deceiving many Christians.

I know there are many people and theologians that put forth this theory, but there are more than one.
A lot of people believe that the muslim “12th Imam” is the antichrist, who arises out of the east from somewhere. If you think about the statue of Daniel and the feet and ten toes of clay and iron, representing the West and East and that that leader comes from one of those countries/areas...
The West (incl europe) is only one part of the bottom of the statue. Who is to say antichrist doesn’t come out of the Eastern side, it would snyc up with what the muslims are expecting in their final leader. I already think the false prophet comes out of Europe, basically whoever’s in papal power in Rome at the time.
Now I have some anonymous blogger telling me I’m going to hell, because I was involved in Charismatic events? Where do I send my check, so that I can be forgiven? And will this blogger tell me which church God wants me to attend (for a nominal fee, of course)? I guess the blogger’s shop also serves as a palm reading shop, when the Christian business side is slow.
It’s a shame that salvation just wasn’t enough to save me (and others like me). /s
I’ve been to your dead, non-spirit filled churches. I’ve yet to feel the presence of God in any of them. I feel the presence of God alone in my house, more than I’ve ever felt it in those dead denominations.
