PRAY for our Nation and For the Conversion of President Obama

Dear Heavenly Father, We come to You today with thanksgiving for making us Americans and acknowledgement of our need for You in this time of crisis. What the people of this nation have done seems to have more tentacles than even we Freepers realized, and it both disturbs and scares us what is to become of our country. In fact, we are full of so many emotions - none of them happy ones - that we realize that we are prone to misjudging things or jumping to the wrong conclusions. We need Your guiding hand to help us to discern the times. We need You to keep us from being deceived. Our enemies are being both blatant with some of the things they are doing but also subtle in other things. We need Your wisdom for a time such as this.

Help us, Lord, to turn this nation around. Help us to know what to do. Help us to be bold in our witness for You that others may hear the truth and that the truth may set them free. And protect us from the evil which Satan is unleashing on this land.

I pray for our leaders. No, we do not like them. They are doing some very evil things - but we wrestle not against flesh and blood. Convert them Lord. Convert them to the truth. Hit each of them with whatever they need in order to see their need for You. Power is meaningless. It will fade away when we pass away. Money is vain as well. What will a man profit if he gains the whole world and loses his soul. Pleasing You is where it is at, and I would pray for Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and all of the others in Congress that they would be torn from Satan's grip that they may see the truth. Bring them to repent for the evils which they are committing and turn this nation around, Lord, is my prayer.

And it is in Jesus' precious name that I pray these things, Amen.

This is true and much of it, unfortunately, is anger that has the potential to become rage if we don’t keep it in check!

Are you also going to pray for the conversion of George Soros, the secularist-humanist news and entertainment industry which propels Obama, and all the socialist nuts in Congress who dream up the legislation for The One to sign ?

If not, your prayers are in vain. Obama is just a symptom, and a puppet, of a much larger disaster.

Since you are critiquing prayers, why don’t you join us? Yes, Soros needs the Lord as well, so I pray for his salvation of him and all of those in this nation who are anti-Christ.

Dear God in Heaven,
We want to build our lives on the right foundation, the word of God that endures forever. We don't want to collapse from storm and adversity. We want to prove to You, to our families, friends and ourselves that our life is built on the Bible. May You help us to be disciplined to read it, study it, love it and to memorize it. Lastly, help us to apply it and share it. In Christ's name, I pray Amen.
