Time to call out the Big Guns.
Some of you have heard thru FReepmail that a week and a half ago a mass was found during a routine chest X-Ray. 2 days later they did a CT Scan. Yesterday I had a Biopsy done. I just got off the phone with my Doctor.
I have cancer.
Specifically, Adenocarcinoma. More tests need to be done to determine the stage and if it is just the one tumor or if it has spread.
Please include me in your Prayers that this can be treated.The most powerful weapon I can employ in this fight is Prayer.

How’s the chemo going? I’m praying for you to feel well, and accomplish important things this week. And of course, I always for a cure.
I am starting week 3 of cycle 1. So far I feel pretty good.
Today I go in for a blood test. Next Tuesday I start cycle 2.
BTW, I was doing some thinking. 10 years ago today I had my quad bypass. 10 years ago last Sunday was my heart attack. I was on FR at the time.
Looks to be today is a milestone of sorts.
Update:
Back at the Cancer Center. Round 2 starts today. How about that - FReeping on the drip!
The first round of Chemo went rather well. The only worrisome event was on day 3, I had a bout of Bradycardia. (slow heart rate) My Cardiologist adjusted the beta-blocker and that helped. All other side effects were minor. I hope it stays that way. There is someone I know who went through it and side effects got worse as he progressed.
Well, I will be FReeping from here for the next 4 hours.

Well, this sucks.
Infusion finished, BUT, the steroid I am on did all sorts of nasty things to my blood sugar levels. Now I am being sent to the ER with a blood sugar reading of 600+ mg/dL.
Not sure when I will post again, it won;t be until I am released.
