Please pray for my dog named Jessie. She is a 150lb. Mastiff and she has cancer. She is so large that the vet could not remove her leg and now she keeps crying even though she has medicine. I would be thankful for any prayers. God bless and thanks.

God bless you and thank you all so much for your kind words and prayers. Another thing is that my poor mother has Alzheimer's and she will not understand if anything happens to Jessie. She still asks me where my other dog named Brutus is and he passed away over a year ago. I pray that God will help Jessie bounce back but I think the cancer has spread through her chest. I am hoping for a miracle. Thank you again so much!

One of my father’s dogs has cancer. They’ve been treating him with a combination of benedryl, flax oil & cottage cheese, CoQ10, fish oil, selenium, and a no-grain diet. The dog is downright peppy and has lasted a year after his diagnosis. He’s also being given prednisdone for the pain.

You are so nice. I am so thankful for all of the prayers of Freepers. I knew you I could depend on you guys.

I've loved and lost a special dog.
She was very ill with liver failure.
Since I am a nurse the vet put in an iv line.. gave me the drug to end her suffering.
I maintained the iv site to keep it open.
When I finally accepted that I was prolonging her suffering rather than preserving her life...I used it.
In a lifetime of doing hard things, I've never done anything harder.
She didn't understand the why of her suffering..just that she hurt and looked to me to fix it..Just like I fixed everything during her 14 years.
My prayers are with you during the time of your distress.
You hurt because you love , and loving an innocent makes it more painful.
