So don't let them.
Luke 22:36
and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.
“For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.”
Sis, I didn't think it was. I thank God for what He is doing in your life and that we have bumped into each other here.
It’s not. It doesn’t save you.
Or splashthed or thprinkled.
One of the things it means to us on a simple level is that God always makes the first move.
One of the toughest things in communicating over the internet is to not assume something. We disagree a great deal, but I hold you no animus. You've been a gentleman and I want to rspond in kind.
I have several RC's that work for me. We talk a great deal about our faith. I don't dislike them, in fact I'm very concerned for them because of how they view Mary.
Did I say that my works will earn me salvation?
If you salvation is contingent on your works before, or after, you are saved then your works earn you your salvation.
I have guns. Think that might help? Lol
Christ is arisen and sits at the right hand of the Father. He’s never attended your pagan rite; he has already paid the price.
So why does their devotion to Mary alarm you?
If you can understand that they mean well but have a blind spot, why do you think the Lord Almighty will be less forgiving than you will be?
LOL.
amen...
pride is a sin...
It's more than devotion. They worship her. They expect her to answer their prayers. They expect her to keep them safe and when we talked about Christmas they talked about the feast days honoring her. Their first desire is to run to Mary.
It's thinking promoted by your church not only at the local level but at the top. All you have to do is see the pictures of your Pope kneeling down and praying to a statue of Mary to get the message. It's wrong.
We believe our salvation is based upon the grace of God.
Don't get tripped up walking through apples and oranges. - The efficacy of the sacrifice ceased when the veil was rent, but the testimony of the epistles is that the feasts continued. The apostles timed their voyages so that they would be in Jerusalem for Pesach, Pentecost, and Tabernacles. They never ceased, because they are literal appointments with God. Even in the gentile churches of Greece/Macedonia they are mentioned in the epistles.
Thank you so much for your encouragements, dear brother in Christ!
And I thank God for you, dear brother in Christ!
lol
I don’t attend your pagan rites, nor wear your pagan garb.
