Jesus never used the term... nor did he forbid sheep pens..

Sheep pens are indeed genius..
Christians self sorting(or grading) themselves into groups..
God does not do it, they do it themselves..

So very true. Jesus makes it so, that His sheep can go in and out of the pens:

I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. - John 10:9

Though I must admit, I prefer the pasture.

The LORD [is] my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
