Metmom has had allergies and food allergies her entire life. In the last few years they have gotten steadily and progressively worse. Foods have been dropping out of her diet until she reached the point she is at now and can only eat rice, chicken, lamb, and venison. Anything else causes her to react rather destructively, debilitatingly.
The problem is that the repeated continual exposure to the few remaining foods, could lead to a sensitivity to those as well, which has just happened to two foods she had been safely eating since October.
There are options for nutrition should she start to react to all foods, but they are used only in the most dire situations. She's concerned about reaching that point--and frankly has been feeling more than a little discouraged by all such.
She has undergone extensive medical testing which has all been inconclusive. Almost everything comes back normal or negative, and the few things that she does test positive for aren’t what causes her the most problems.
She is attempting to get into a regional medical center for more specialized medical evaluation to see if they can determine the cause and possible treatment, if any exists.
She has been prayed for and anointed numerous times over the years, however, she would appreciated continued prayer for complete healing.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND HER PLIGHT with as much empathy as you can. She's been through a 1,001 suggestions and tried a LOT of different things. She's been through the Henry Wright seminar and prayers extensively. I don't think she is quite up to handling any more suggestions currently. Those who've been through such can understand such a feeling. She just greatly would appreciate your understanding and PARTICULARLY YOUR CARING PRAYERS.
This summary is per my understanding and might be stated somewhat differently were she writing it herself. I believe she'd affirm the truth of what I've said but these are essentially my words.

I did not realize there were metal to metal seals for canners.
I grow my own. We have friends who have a small farm and I get all my fertilizer from them. Since my garden isn’t terribly big, pests aren’t a problem so I don’t have to spray.
Even those don’t work.

I’d like to thank each and every one of you for your prayers. As I was pulling together this list of each of you who responded either on this thread or via FReepmail, I was over whelmed by the sheer number of you who responded. I’m sorry that I did not have the opportunity to respond to each of you individually. That is certainly no indication of my lack of gratitude or noticing your posts.
So far, I have no been healed, but I did figure out one thing that had been bothering me that I didn’t expect, and that was the sea salt which I had been using. It has some anti-caking agents in it which I was reacting to. I am OK for now, with the chicken and oats after all and a few bites of some other foods on occasion.
I have found a couple supplements which I can take to help prevent any nutritional deficiencies. One which seems to be helping with the allergy part is Quercetin, for any one else out there who might be interested.
Later this week, I have an appointment in Boston with a gastro-enterologist who deals with food allergies. Mr. mm and I are driving out there as we are close enough to do so. It’ll be a long day, but it will be manageable.
Please pray for safety traveling and that the doctor would have wisdom in pinpointing what the issue is and a possible course of treatment until such time as God heals me, which is the best option and still what I’m hoping for.
We have a few other things that I’d appreciate prayer for if you could add those. There are a couple things that we need to find which I’m sure are around the house somewhere. One is my daughter’s passport, the other is a small check. I’m sure they’ve just been misplaced as opposed to stolen or thrown out or something. :(

Since the kids are all off to college, I have been cleaning. It’s a wonderful feeling doing that and having it stay that way behind me.
The number of places to look for this is diminishing, which is encouraging and not.

I was thinking, that since both of those items are small and relatively thin, you might look BEHIND drawers and dressers... Looks around innocently, as to exactly how I learned to look in those areas, lol.
