Christians, who is your brother?

The better question for you to ask would be "Mormon's, who is Jesus' brother?"

And they will tell you that their Jesus is the brother of Lucifer.

Now, ask me who is my Jesus. And I'll tell you, my Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, IS NOT the brother of Lucifer.

Like Samuel Adams, “I will pray with any man”. And, I will stand and fight with any Patriot.

God Bless You Glenn Beck.

I heartily agree. I am highly skeptical of those that are trying to stir up this animosity and controversy.

Does Glenn have a hell to put you in? We’re not talking about collective salvation. You have to approach the Creator of the Universe for yourself.

One thing that hasn’t changed that down through the years the enemy of God has always been right there to pick off anyone that dare stand up and confess anything concerning Yahweh.

Christrians read the Bible, and that includes Mormons.

They also have a wonderful book entitled, “Jesus The Christ.”

I think I'll take a refresher course soon.

Indeed, God bless Glenn Beck and those around him.

It took a tremendous amount of courage for him to do what he did Saturday.

Did you know that he wore a bullet-proof vest for his wife?

I am Catholic I’m sure you also have something nasty to say about us too.*eyeroll* Why not worry about your own soul and I’ll do the same with mine.

Treating all as a Brother is what Jesus implored the dogmatically correct Pharisees with the parable of the good Sumaritan (the theologically heretical fake Jew). It doesn’t mean you agree with doctrine, but you are required by Jesus to show good will.

The new commandment from Jesus is to love one another as he has loved us. I see it rarely here on Freerepublic, therefore I can only conclude that the true disciples of Christ are faint in numbers here.

Who is a bigger religious leader at this moment than Beck?

There weren’t Christians of all stripes, Jews, and Muslims on the stage with Beck? And in the crowd? Does anyone think any of those people were praying to someone elses God? This Reverend would not attend an event like The National Prayer Breakfast because he might be praying next a person praying to a God other than his own? Am I the only one who finds his attitude un-Christian?

I think ALL people who believe in GOD coming together is a good thing! No, make that a great thing! I traveled on a bus with people of all different religious persuasions. Denominations and religions represent theological differences and interpretations but GOD IS LOVE and that is the universal message. God knows "his" identity and does not need denominational modifiers. The CHURCH is bigger than each of the many denominations that have grown from it. To get hung up on specific theological points is very Pharisitic. The CHURCH is not contained by walls or doctrines or creeds. The CHURCH is composed of all the people who have the SPIRIT OF GOD within. We are ALL pilgrims on a journey of seeking the face of God we all are now looking through a glass darkly. It is only on the other side that all will be made clear. Please don't be a stumbling block to this man who has come so far on his faith journey. We are not to judge one another for that is the ultimate sin of setting ourselves up as God. May we humbly be open to God's divine guidance. I am certain that what I experienced on 8-28 was the presence of GOD. Thank you Glenn Beck!

I would listen to a confessed atheist passing out Twinkies and calling them manna if he was still correct on the Founding principles of this Nation. Differing or wrong beliefs in one area doesn't mean everything else is wrong. I might think he's bonkers on the Twinkies but meh whatever.

Your premise is flawed. Beck is not a religious leader. I’d say the Pope is still numero uno since Billy Graham got older.

"Anyone who doesn't believe the human race is about to enter a Great Tribulation should read the comments on this thread..."

I totally agree. And reading these comments makes one realize just how easy it will be for the Antichrist to fool people. "Unity," the Antichrist will cry. And by the millions they will fall in place, marching gladly to their doom. Unified.

I guess the writer would not have been a signer of the Declaration of Independence, because of the “false god” of the Papists who were later to sign it. His Calvinist forebears didn’t seem to share his sensibilities.

Wow, so you being a Catholic think that God the Father was a sinner who once lived on the planet Kolob? That he gained exaltation to Godhood?

How is that the same God of Catholic and Protestant doctrine?

Mormons have every right to believe whatever they want. Just don't lie about it and hide it.

Yes I know and they will attempt to deceive the very elect if it were possible. We can agree on this one thing we’re all sincere in our passion. Good thing we both know the word but if I have not love I am nothing.

It appears we know the same things concerning the Bible but at disagreement on another brother’s belief system. Another conundrum.
