Um, the pope, THE POPE, the leader of the Roman Catholic Church said that Mormon’s are NOT Christians. I don’t know how much more plain that meaning can be!

But maybe you don’t really listen to the Pope. Maybe Catholics can do that now. Who knows.

Luke 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged...

1 Corinthians 2:15  But he that is spiritual judgeth all things

1 John 4:1  ¶Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Why does it upset you so that someone has a different religion than you do?

It doesn't upset me at all other than the fact that the unbelievers in the true Jesus Christ are going to Hell. In fact, I fully support their rights to chose Hell, though it pains me. Just like I fully support my right to speak out about false religions.

The same laws that allow them to believe in false Christ' allow me to speak out about that.

Ever read the old testatment where moses is up on the mountain talking to God; meanwhile the wandering children of Israel begged Aaron to make them a god. He made a golden calf out of gold earrings so the people could pray and worship it; and praised it for bringing them out of egypt! Exodus 32. There are all kinds of ‘different’ gods.

I’m still waiting on those links. There’s a whole lot of ignoring going on.

You know my heart’s desire is to be able to shake President Bush’s hand and thank him for the good things he did for this country and I’d like to ask Glenn Beck in person whether we believe in the same Jesus.

Now imagine that because Glenn Beck has issues with George Bush. How can we all possibly co-exist?

How do you know you believe in the real Jesus? Do you and I believe in the same Jesus? In eternity will our conversation even matter? Will you be able to post those links any time soon?

"Then I looked about me and saw the sky and the wide lands, and smelled the sweetness. And I said, By the Gods, this is a pleasant place; it may be that I am come into the country of Tash. And I began to journey into the strange country and to seek him.

"So I went over much grass and many flowers and among all kinds of wholesome and delectable trees till lo! in a narrow place between two rocks there came to me a great Lion. The speed of him was like the ostrich, and his size was an elephant's; his hair was like pure gold and the brightness of his eyes like gold that is liquid in the furnace. He was more terrible than the Flaming Mountain of Lagour, and in beauty he surpassed all that is in the world even as the rose in bloom surpasses the dust of the desert.

"Then I fell at his feet and thought, Surely this is the hour of death, for the Lion (who is worthy of all honour) will know that I have served Tash all my days and not him. Nevertheless, it is better to see the Lion and die than to be Tisroc of the world and live and not to have seen him. But the Glorious One bent down his golden head and touched my forehead with his tongue and said, 'Son, thou art welcome.' But I said, 'Alas, Lord, I am no son of thine but the servant of Tash.' He answered, 'Child, all the service thou hast done to Tash, I account as service done to me.' Then by reason of my great desire for wisdom and understanding, I overcame my fear and questioned the Glorious One and said, 'Lord, is it then true, as the Ape said, that thou and Tash are one?' The Lion growled so that the earth shook (but his wrath was not against me) and said, 'It is false. Not because he and I are one, but because we are opposites - I take to me the services which thou hast done to him. For I and he are of such different kinds that no service which is vile can be done to me, and none which is not vile can be done to him. Therefore, if any man swear by Tash and keep his oath for the oath's sake, it is by me that he has truly sworn, though he know it not, and it is I who reward him. And if any man do a cruelty in my name, then, though he says the name Aslan, it is Tash whom he serves and by Tash his deed is accepted. Dost thou understand, Child?' I said, 'Lord, thou knowest how much I understand.' But I said also (for the truth constrained me), 'Yet I have been seeking Tash all my days.' 'Beloved,' said the Glorious One, 'unless thy desire had been for me thou wouldst not have sought so long and so truly. For all find what they truly seek.'

God will use man to do something. I dont think Glenn is leading a religious revival in America based off of one rally. I was only pointing out that if people are upset that a Mormon is leading a religious rally, why arent they holding their pastors to account. The only way Glenn could be a leader is if we were devoid of them. Nationally, I think we are. And, I think that is ok.

In the present dispensation of the grace of God in which we are living, Paul's last days speak of apostacy- not revival.

"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy...having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away" (2 TIm. 3:1,2,5).

"For the time will come when they will come when they will not endure sound doctrine! But after their own lust shall they heap to themselves teachers having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned unto fables." (2 TIm. 4:3,4).

So politically speaking, a revival of truths about our country's founding and how to get back those truths are critical.

but biblically speaking, spiritual apostacy is here and has settled in comfortably in our churches.

WIll God give our country yet another chance politically if we turn back to him spiritually? Or is the spiritual apostacy just too strong to break? Interesting question, to me.

What links? I already posted in this thread the link from LDS.org where it states that Mormon’s believe that their Jesus is the brother of Lucifer.

Now the point is, which you are ignoring, that Glen can say all day he believes Jesus died on the cross. But his Jesus is not the Jesus of the Holy Bible.

Well, that just happened, so I would say a few hundred thousand would show up and peaceably worship.

Didn’t one of the founding fathers say something about this republic only surviving if the populace lived according to Biblical principles? I just read an article today about a British professor saying because there is no God, there are no human rights and the disabled should be sterilized.

So, go ahead, destroy the nation any way you see fit. Without the God of the Bible or with the gods of the pagan nations of the world.

What do you think would happen if Gospel preachers stood up in Washing DC and starting telling people that they should repent and trust Jesus Christ alone for their salvation?

Worked for Billy Graham.

That's the thing Dude, there is no true worship going on when God is not worshiped.

Glen Beck's god isn't my God.

John 4:24  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Do you really believe that when Jesus said, “that where two or three gather in My name, there I am also.” That He was talking about unbelievers too?? Seriously, I think this Pastor was making a theological argument and you are on very shaky ground.

Jesus came for ALL people, and His apostles took His word beyond the Jews to the entire world, which included MANY unbelievers, and I, for one, am glad they did.

I would like you to post the links that Beck claims what he believes. From his own mouth.

How do you know he’s not like our great president now who managed 20 years under a minister and don’t remember nothing he said. Doesn’t believe anything he taught.
