FREE KITTENS

A pretty little girl named Suzy was standing on the sidewalk in front of her home in Salt Lake City. Next to her was a basket containing a number of tiny creatures; in her hand was a sign announcing FREE KITTENS.

Suddenly a line of big black cars pulled up beside her. Out of the lead car stepped a tall, grinning man.

"Hi there little girl, I'm President Thomas Monson. What do you have in the basket?" he asked.

"Kittens," little Suzy said.

"How old are they?" asked Monson.

Suzy replied, "They're so young, their eyes aren't even open yet."

"And what kind of kittens are they?"

"Mormons," answered Suzy with a smile.

Thompson was delighted. As soon as he returned to his car, he called his PR chief and told him about the little girl and the kittens.

Recognizing the perfect photo op, the two men agreed that the president should return the next day; and in front of the assembled media, have the girl talk about her discerning kittens.

So the next day, Suzy was again standing on the sidewalk with her basket of "FREE KITTENS," when another motorcade pulled up, this time followed by vans from Deseret News, The Ensign magazine and KSL.

Cameras and audio equipment were quickly set up, then Thompson got out of his limo and walked over to little Suzy.

"Hello, again," he said, "I'd love it if you would tell all my friends out there what kind of kittens you're giving away."

"Yes sir," Suzy said. "They're Christians."

Taken by surprise, the Living Prophet® stammered, "But... but... yesterday, you told me they were MORMONS."

Little Suzy smiled and said, "I know. But today, they have their eyes open"

If a Mormon believes one is still married in the afterlife, but his/her original spouse in this world has passed away and there has been a remarriage, which spouses make up the marriage in the next life? I am especially curious in the case of a remarried woman. This is not a baiting question I reeally am curious.

Good question. Simplest answer is that a man may be married for eternity with more than one woman - current 'interpretation of D&C 132. Get past that and the whole scheme gets very twisted.

I was honest on this thread..I do not know about Mormom Doctrine...I DO KNOW THE BIBLE..

Early in the thread I made an ASSUMPTION (we know about these; don't we!) that you were yet another OPRAH 'christian' that just wants us all to get along with no fussing.

I ASSUMED that you DID know some MORMON doctrine and considered that it wasn't important as long as we were 'nice' to one another.

I ASSUMED that a 'knowledgable' Christian would know enough to instantly see the ERRORS of MORMONism.

Then you started posting that you really didn't know that much about MORMONism.

Then you posted that MORMONism is beginning to sound like Scientology.

SOMEwhere along in all of that I posted a LOT of BIBLICAL truth about false teachings and those that bring them.

I did this because I saw no BIBLE verses that addressed the FALSE TEACHINGs, but instead some vague NICENESS factor.

God has told many more that Mormonism is false. Either they are decieved or you are.

Those who believe Mormonism is false also have evidence on their side.

And you are right “Testifying of Jesus Christ coming in the flesh as Lord and Savior is one of them.” but the LDS don’t testify of the BIBLICAL CHRIST, they testify of a FALSE CHRIST and that is something Satan can do.

I know who answered your prayer as well, and it wasn’t God at all. Why? Because God will not testify of blasphemy and Mormon doctrine is unbiblical blasphemy.

You bear a testimony that starts off with claiming some man named J. Smith..is a prophet.

When I testify...I testify about my Lord and Saviour...Not a man!!

C’mon we are waiting.

Martyrs don’t fight back, Smith died in a gunfight caused by his own arrogance and vandalism. That is not a martyr.
