***Semantics becomes a problem at some point***

True enough my FRiend.

When we speak of the Holy Spirit as the deliever of Grace, that is when we run into the problem I illustrated above. We are NEVER more saved than we were when we first put our faith in Jesus.

Do I always feel close to God? Heavens (no pun intened) no! But that is my problem, my own perception/action/feeling. We are, after all told, that we will never be foresaken.

Agreed.

Plenty true.

However . . . folks who . . . persistently put God first more or less in all they do . . . earnestly pray and fast above average . . . tend to

BE

AND

FEEL

CLOSER TO GOD AND MORE FLOWING IN HIS SPIRIT AND WILL

than those who don’t.

we will never be foresaken.

Perhaps you should take up golf, then.
